Opus Casino Gemaco Cash Set

This is one set that I had my eye on for over a year now. Man, these $100 & $500 are , really glad I get to own a set and basically at Card mold pricing.

I have partial colour blindness and this set colour combination will have no issue for me so that is a plus point for me.

Will be using the solid as Non Denominated Fracs for this set

This Set can Cover 25c/50c to $2/$5 stake, it can even cover 2 tables if need to but it not like I don't owned enough set to run a small Poker Room now

This will be my 11th set till date and will need to re-organize my cabinet to fit them

Will be spending some after work time to clean the newly acquired chips, will try to clear 1-2 rack per day

Chip “Wardrobe” updated.

All are double racks stacked so each drawer are about at 20-25kg weight which is probably the limit I will go even though I am able to stack them in 3’s if I like to do so

Received the ND Ceramic Plaques and I like them better as an option for my FHC Set

They can work as a Rebuy 2000 Plaques or Bounty Plaques and the Yellow Color work with the rest of the colors

I also have the suitable storage case for it, with each case holding 5 Plaques

Another add-on is that I manage to find some ND Fracs to add on to my HHR HS Set, It took quite sometime to find something that I think will work well with the set

I will be using the Green Rack to match with the rest of the Set

The Collections Part II
Added some photos for the haul I gotten during year 2, starting to look like a decent collection now
(I retook the pictures because it look undone, it was empty in one column which I had replaced it with some of my Deck Collections)

Received and Added a rack of green to my HHR HS Set, it will be used as my Non-denomination Fracs

Think the Add-on green rack work well with the rest of the line out and the Black ND will be my $100 chips

I had since gotten some add-on and completed some of my Sets; so I taken an updated group pics with the add-ons after doing some spring cleaning as well over the weekend

My wife is pretty much used to me spending time with my collections by now, often joking that at least she know I don’t have the spare money & time to be having an affair

Hopefully it be another fruitful year, I thinking Year 3 will likely start off with a Matsui GB and hopefully start one of the mixed set project that I been thinking about for awhile

Been awhile since I update the thread

Added quite a few more new card set-up thanks to a number of PCF recommendations and GB

Main focus for card collection is still on Jumbo index Set-up

As for Chip, I have done a number of add on to my existing Set’s bank to accommodate the growing stake of my game

Most of them are still in transit which I will update at a later date with pic when I received all the packages

In Summary, I added on the following

PCA Set - 20 x $100 Plaques and 2 x $500 Plaques
Majestic Star Set - 20 x $100 Chips
FDL Le Bour Set - 20 x $100 Plaques
Condado Plaza CIC Set - $1 x 100, $5 x 100, $25 x 100 (Converting the T5 set to playable $1/1 & $1/2 stake cash set)

Horseshoe Cincinnati Cash Set

Time to start 2023 with a new set and I personally like the $25 and $100 with $100 being one of my favorite RHC $100.

Problem with the set that I almost never ever going to find Mint $1 to match with the rest of the chip, my solution is to get HSI $1 to try it out and relabel them in the future.

*Things I am still looking to add on to this set are
1) a suitable rack of chip to be relabel as fracs
2) maybe a barrel of $500 to complete the set

Will be using the Starburst as temp Non Denominated Fracs for this set. Also, I am likely to be rotating my Majestic Star set out of the rotation with HSC as the immediate replacement.

This Set will mainly be used to cover $1/1 to $1/3 stake and also be able to cover 25/50c if I used the Starburst

Condado Plaza CIC Bud Jones Cash Set

I have a special spot for the CIC T5 Tourney set but I am not playing much Tourney to put this set into use.

So I decided to convert the T5 set into a Cash set with multi add-ons and ending up with a Cash set that have over $40k+ in bank , pretty sure this set is not going to be affected by Inflation for the next 2 decades

*Things I am still looking to add on to this set are
1) maybe an additional rack of $1 CIC

This Set will mainly be used to cover $1/1 to $2/5 stake

Potential Time Bank Chips, bought them initially to be used as $1 for the set before I found some $1 CIC instead

Also, I have added some extra Plaques to increase my total Bank for both my PCA set & FDL Paris Set

Been trimming the sets I have for abit

1) sold a few CM set, only keeping my BTP set as the only ceramic set now (been a bit too over enthusiastic and bought a few sets too many)

2) also looking to offload my Majestic Stars as I got a new replacement set for it

3) also considering selling my T5 FHC set as no one in my group or around me have any interest in playing tourney

Existing sets now (I should still be looking to trim 1-2 more set as I want to keep my cash set rotation to 6 + 1 but it’s hard to let it go)

Diamond Jack Solid HotStamped Cash Set

Part 2 of my project in an effort to upgrade all my Used RHC set to Mint RHC set. Part 3 will be complete if I managed to pick up another mint set from the outcoming TCR sales.

Picked up a Solid HotStamped set from the last TCR Sales, I think it's an incredible pricing for a Turn-key Cash set that is very versatile as well.
Loved the overall bright color and condition of the chips.

I be using the snappers of the set as 25c as well when I am playing stake below $1 or using it as snappers when playing BlackJacks too.

*Things I am still looking to add on to this set are nothing, it's the ideal breakdown to cover all the stake that I am likely to be playing.

This Set will mainly be used to cover $1/1 to $1/3 stake and also be able to cover 25/50c & 50c/$1 when i used the Snappers as fracs

Having secured a Diamond Jack Secondary set, my main quest stage 1 to trim down the lesser set and used RHC set to Mint set is all but done.

Although my original plan was to only get 2 mint sets rather the 3 mint sets that I end up getting as I fare slightly better than original budgeted.

My next main quest stage 2 is to get another THC set which properly will take a long time, like a year or so of saving to do that and secondary side quest is addon another VGC Plastic & Chipco Casino Set to my collection.

Diamond Jack Secondary Cash Set
Presenting what will likely be my Clay workhorse set for hosting and they look even more amazing in person than on the pics.

The Snapper, The $1, The $5 (with my favorited tri-moon) and The $100 (the best of the lineout) are wonderful when put together in a set. Even the $25 which I think it kinda meh didn't look too bad in the lineout. I totally skipped on the $500 cos they look ugly AF to me personally

These chip definitely went under the radar as it was released together with the roulette and after the Tiger Sales. If not we might see another IG sales history repeating again.

I be turning the snappers into 25c as well but will only be done at a much later stage, not rushing with it as I want to consider all my options first.

*Things I am still looking to add on to this set are
- Another rack of $5 & $25 if they went on clearance sale by TCR in the future as they seem to still have a healthy amount of stock left

This Set will mainly be used to cover $1/1 to $1/3 stake and also be able to cover 25/50c & 50c/$1 when i used the Snappers as fracs

My project in an effort to upgrade all my Used RHC set to Mint RHC set are mostly completed (still some add-on and relabeling to be done in the future), having added 2 new set of RHC with different edging / colour and also 1 new set of RHC Hot-stamped Solid.

I could also mixed and match them in a mixed RHC set if I wanted and will do so in the future hosting. Time to save up even more Chippings fund and proceed to the next stage of my chipping journey

Been awhile since I last updated and here is what I had been doing for the past few months, Year 3 is turning out to be a very productive year as well for me

(i) Horseshoe Cincinnati Set

I finally decided to go with Sycuan $2 as my fracs relabel to match with my HSI $1 which will be my $1 relabel, Q for relabel and likely turnover to be 6-8 weeks.

Manage to get some really good condition Sycuan $2 as well

This is the New lineup, I felt like yellow fracs match really well here and the $100 are one of my favourite chip.

(ii) Hustler Replica Set

I have ordered a gimmick "High Roller" set on the No mold tina chips, took me a while to fix the artwork.

Will be using them at 1/100 face value when playing them with my crews as we watch HCL a lot. (Who doesn't want to play their own Million $ Cash game as well)

Expecting shipment 2-3 weeks

(iii) Paulson Classic Set

I just recently had a local find of them at a bargain, pretty good condition but required some cleaning up.

The set doesn't come with any $1, and I have the idea of over labeling the $1k as new $1(will be a dope yellow $1) for the set. I mocked up the $1 and will try on some local sticker label to test run on the quality too.

Will do an updated post on this set when I cleaned them up and relabel them as well. Likely turnover about 1 week

Also, I have extra rack of $25 & $100 from the set which I don't need and happy to sell.

Compared to the oither denoms, there's not enough yellow in this set to use as 1 imho. I love yellow $1's though.

HS Cincy are so nice. I'll also use the Sec $100 with my IG set instead of the IG $100. But I even prefer the prim $5 if I've to pick one HS Cincy chip.

I liked The Bank set , both the Sunfly and the Clay set

I think the $1 will look nice, so far I only cleaned up 2 out of the 10 racks and they looking good. Although the dirt are more stubborn than I predicted and will required Extra cleaning up after the first round

Also, the mock-up of the line up

HS Cincy are so nice. I'll also use the Sec $100 with my IG set instead of the IG $100. But I even prefer the prim $5 if I've to pick one HS Cincy chip.

Paulson Classic Cash Set
Presenting what is my very first local find at a killer price, I paid about $750 for a set of 1000 chips which also include a rack of $1000. All the years of vetting through junk online finally paid off.

The set however didn't come with any $1 so I did my own $1 label mockup (I changed the background red so the $1 is more visible across the table) and over-label the Orange $1k to playable $1.

The whole set is just a beauty, and these will be one of my keeper sets. Love the $25, $100 & $1K chips (Poor $5 look so average when paired with them)

*Things I am still looking to add on to this set are
- I got an extra rack of $100 which I be interested to swap out for $500 if there's any interested parties, let me know

This Set will mainly be used to cover $1/1 to $5/5 stake

Hustler Replica Textured No Mold Set
My gimmick "High Roller" set on the No mold tina chips, which there are some issues initially when I received them as I think Tina ignored some of the changes I make to the set. But being priced at 25c each, I guess some levels of inconsistency are to be expected.

These will be the second ceramic set that I currently owned, the other being BTP on Card mold.

Will be using them at 1/100 face value when playing them with my crews as we watch HCL a lot. (Who doesn't want to play their own Million $ Cash game as well)

The set breakdown also can double as a 2 Table T100 Tourney set with lot of buyins available.

Overall, I felt a bit indifferent with the $5k and might want to re-explore into remaking them and also might also consider doing the mockup for the $25k "KOBE" chip as well.

The $100 is my Favorite and also the most iconic chip IMO and surprising the green $1000 is a close second for me.

*Things I am still looking to add on to this set are
- Re-making of $5k
- Addon for $25k "KOBE"

This Set will mainly be used to cover 25/50c to $1/$1 stake and also T100 MTT.

A quick summary of my chipset movement in year 2023 so far, as I quickly realise that I don't enjoy used chip much now compared to the start of my chipping journey and pretty much replaced them all.

All the chips that I have purchased before we realise we are having a newborn next year had all arrived. Unlikely to foresee any large purchases in the near future unless I found another bargain deal similarly to the Paulson Classic Set.

One small part of me still wish to own a small set of Bud Jones S2 or Matsui Zens or a cheap Abbiati, but such is life.
