Le Paulson Noir (1 Viewer)

There are a TON of Paulsons selling in the $3-$4/chip range. It depends on their condition, but, more than anything, I think it depends mostly on what they’re worth to you. Much like art, the market is dictated by what people are willing to pay. If it’s a good breakdown, they’re in good shape, and you like them, I would say they’re definitely worth it! I always loved the Le Noirs and wished I’d picked up a set when they were available.

Share some photos if you can, and best of luck!

Le Paulson Noir are really nice chips IF they're in good shape (eg edges are sharp and color is not mixed and still bright). These chips had a bad reputation for color transfer from darker chips to lighter ones.

So...if they're still in good shape as described above then I'd be open to $2/chip. However, if they've seen a lot of play, the edges are worn and there's tons of color transfer then they're worth half that. And you may have to clean/oil them (carefully) once you get them.

Is $2/chip a good deal for these?

I had a set of 300 back in the day (black 100, purple 500 and yellow 1k) and they were gorgeous, absolutely loved playing with them. I regret selling them over at the blue wall. I believe when I bought them they retailed for $1.49/chip, and I sold them at a loss to boot (but was a new member to that chipping site)

Yeah I tried (within the past 6 months) to negotiate for sets (for 400-500 chips) with 2 different people on eBay and I couldn’t get them lower than $3.25 per chip. I passed.

Love these

These are one of the best stock design 5K chips out there imho. Simple yet elegant.

Love the paradise mold.

$2 a chip sailed a long time ago - these got popular, and even though there is good supply most people aren't letting go of them now.

Yeah definitely nice chips and mine are pretty much mint I.e. only played 4x home poker games.

This thread needs some Le Noir Pr0n. Here you go! I love my Le Noirs. Personally, I think $2/chip is a fantastic price, as long as the condition is very good to excellent. Near mint or mint condition chips tend to sell for more.

Love the $5 chip colours but hate the $5,000.

All chips have abit of colour transfer when they’re new until they are really used.
