Le Cove Chips! (Paulson THC) (1 Viewer)

I play mostly limit. My favorite denomination is the $20 (the value chip in a limit set). My favorite chip has long been the Le Cove $20 (hence my avatar). In fact, I think Le Cove is one of the best Paulson sets from top down.

And this week after 2 years of searching, I finally completed my rack of $20’s!! Never thought it would be possible. This now completes my limit set. Will post pics of the full set later.

I also have a rack of the beautiful Le Cove $0.50’s. I use these in my mixed set at least for now.

And I also have a barrel of the hundos which I have zero use for but love. Especially the blue and orange spots against the black base.

I contemplate from time to time trying to chase down $1’s and $5’s and build a full Le Cove set but they’re both extremely rare and expensive so I likely won’t go down that rabbit hole. I think the 3 denoms I do have are the best 3 and the rack of $20’s and rack of $0.50’s are currently being used in different sets so they’ll see the felt.

Alright my Le Cove set. I am 40 short of another rack for the $5's and $25's. Not pictured.

2400+ chips

I am looking to buy more of the $25's. Around 160 more.

I would entertain buying more $5's but not a total need.

Other then that I am pretty happy with the set. The .25cent and $5000 chips are custom with the expert help of the genius @Gear

Added a rack of $1’s this week! 4 different denoms now represented.

Just missing the $5 now. Would be happy with just 1 rack of those. In the meantime, likely to feature my Casablanca $5’s which are also THC and have a yellow spot.

To make this the perfect set and playable, I’m in need of 1 more rack of $1’s and 1 rack of $5’s. I’d consider trading both of my racks of Casablanca $5’s (near mint+) for a rack of Le Cove $5’s (2 for 1). Would even buy singles/barrels.

Man I love that purple chip. It’s probably why I bought the Gardena’s... cuz it’s the same purple/spots in a 50 chip, which I can actually use... lol

I was finally able to get my hands on a Le Cove $5 to compare to the Casablanca $5’s I’ve been using as a stand in because the Le Cove $5’s are unicorns. And I have to say that I’m very pleased with how close the reds and yellows match. I think the Casablanca is about as good as I’m going to do and the 210 I have are as mint as they come to match the condition of the Le Coves

Love these chips! A grail set for me. I tried putting a cash game set together 10-12 years ago and finally gave up. Very hard to find in quantity.

Thanks. LOL, usually the pots get big when Lisa and @kmccormick100 in the house. In this hand, Lisa cbet with K high on the flop and another player reraised her...she pushed allin!! LOL
