New here but it inspired me to dig through my old storage tubs to find the collection of quite an epic night.

It was 2008, I was living in Phoenix, AZ at the time and my friend's brother was a finalist for the TGI Friday's flair bartending competition in Las Vegas. So another friend of mine and I decided to drive up there to meet up with them and root his brother on. We get up there, checked into the hotel (Mandalay Bay), and had each brought a bottle of our preferred liquor with us (Jameson for me).

We start the night off with some drinks in the hotel room and watch some sports on TV. One drink turns into two, two turns in three, three turns into "Hey (other friend)! Good to see you again, let me pour you a drrr... whoa, why is there only a splash left in this bottle..." (blackout). I really don't remember a thing, my friends later on filled me in with some info on what I did that night, but have no recollection.

Anyways, woke up the next day with one of the worst hangovers of my life. Barely got out of bed to just "pray to the porcelain God" every hour. I ended up missing the competition that following evening and all my friends went to it as I was still recovering in the room. Around 7pm I was able to finally get out of bed and stomach some food downstairs. I decided tonight would be the night- the night I try to hit up every casino on the Las Vegas strip in one single night!

The plan of attack of to throw $200 on a table game, if I'm ever up $30, I'm out and onto the next place. If I lose the $200, ok, I'm out onto the next one. I started at Mandalay Bay then Luxor, Excalibur.... all the way to the Wynn. In total it was 16 casinos. To prove I was there I would take a single $1 chip with me from each place. By the end of the night, around 6:30am to be exact, I was at the Wynn and up about $1,300 (Roulette and craps were nice to me- I stayed a little longer on Craps than the $30 profit limit as I didn't want to leave in the middle of a roll until it 7'd out).

Through the years I've kept the chips through multiple moves but I think two are floating now either in a box I can't find or on a roadside somewhere (Monte Carlo and Bellagio), but here are the others present day. Always wanted to frame them on some felt but never got around to it. Some could use a little cleaning up now too.

(Also, I think I missed out on a couple just due to time and couldn't walk to- like Bally's being tucked back and Planet Hollywood was under renovations at the time from the Aladdin, so maybe this was actually 2007?)
