The Godzilla thread got me thinking a bit.

Oops, please move to better forum.

Early stages of brainstorming a custom label set. I always loved the Land Before Time characters. I still have the Pizza Hut puppets chilling in my apartment. I've got some Bud Jones R4s coming, so perhaps a label project eventually. Can probably find some other colors. I don't think I'll tie myself to anything standard on denominations, just numbers that could go either cent or T value.

Casino Name - Great Valley Casino (too obvious)

Possible inclusions:
Little foot (brown/chocolate)
Duckie (green)
Petrie (blue)
Sara (orange/yellow)
Spike
Sharptooth (bounty)
Tree Star
Chomper - maybe Not huge on the later ones, but I think Chomper was OK.

Terrible idea or not? I've been looking at various labels and things, so this is all very early.

Until I come up with a real plan, these will be used for as quarters only in a casual $2 max raise game.

It's definitely a longer term project - i.e. play around with some designs. Already seeing that this would benefit from ceramic as 15/16 or 0.875 diameter labels are small. Just a couple quick mockups for Ducky (image needs cropped/cleaned, but feels too busy. Maybe a traditional casino style label on one side with the character on the other would be more practical. We'll see where it goes.

As far as work, do you mean label removal or design? Design I'd eventually get a designer once I have a better 'vision'

Both. Design process should never be rushed.

Ceramic customs offer full face and rolling edge printing, so those are big plusses.

Inlay removal and milling aren't necessarily for the faint of heart, although those with the equipment and wherewithal will end up with a superior product.

I thought that a Doug McLure tribute set was a bit off the wall… then I realised I was thinking about The Land That Time Forgot.

Would have made a cool set though  :ROFLMAO:

Loved the Pizza Hut toys. I remember those 30 years ago.
My mom managed a Pizza Hut back in those days. I’ve got the land before time puppets and glasses as well as all the ET stuff somewhere in a box.
Me and my brother were teenagers and it was a great time for pizza. The bottom drawer of the fridge that’s usually got vegetables was always brim full of slices of leftover pizza!
Come home late from a night of partying and….. Pizza!!!!
