Those who attended MinneMania got a preview, but I recently purchased all the retired chips from the Lac Courte Oreilles (LCO) casino in northern Wisconsin (pronounced: lah-coot-oh-ray). These LCO chips include wonderful leaded THC mold Paulsons, with shaped-inlays on the higher denominations. The chips were used in this small casino for 25 years, and are in much better shape than the non-leaded RHC formulation chips I have seen from the CIN/CLE Horseshoe buys. The MinneMania crew can also comment on the chip conditions, plus I have included pictures below. I'm taking a different route on getting these to PCFers in a THC set format. I will sell the ceramic $5s and Roulette chips separately. PM me if you are looking for a thousand piece ceramic $5 limit set for $350, or a full Roulette setup, or an affordable $1 limit set!

I've bundled the following breakdown of chips to maximize the number of available sets at 12 total.
  • n=100 x $2 THC chips (potential use as a frac) <---only available as part of a set, no single rack sales
  • n=300 x $1 THC chips
  • n=300 x $5 THC chips
  • I'm also adding a free rack of ceramic $5 chips for those who's games play bigger and need four racks of $5s
  • n=80 x $25 THC chips with shaped inlays
  • n=20 x $100 THC chips with shaped inlays

Price for a full THC set is $2k + shipping, $2.50/chip. Buyers assume all shipping risk (FOB my post office), international buyers are welcome, and insurance is available for purchase per standard USPS terms and rates. As others can confirm, I package extremely well. As with other used casino sets, some chips have rack checks that may or may not come off with cleaning. I used a Magic Eraser to clean up several in my set. The two set pictures above are chips I cleaned, but didn't yet oil. For stand alone purchases, or for add-ons to these sets: I also have $1s available for $200/rack + additional mixed racks of $25/$100 available for $300/rack (80/20 mix).

These 12 sets will be sold as a lottery sale. If you would like to buy a set, please post your commitment in this thread. If someone wants to buy two sets, they get purchase priority over those members looking to buy one set, please clearly state that intent. I recommend buying two full sets to get two racks of $2s for fracs, plus six wonderful racks of THC $5s, and plenty of $1s to sort out the best chips. (y) Once 12 slots have been filled, I’ll leave the entry open for about a week and then draw from the all the entries to select the final buyers. Feel free to discuss chops or splits, as I can ship to multiple members for the actual incremental shipping cost.

I am also open to trades for interesting chips, especially but not limited to: Wynn charity event chips + Empress Star secondary tournament chips (especially T25k and T100k) + a rack of Palais de Congress $5 and maybe a rack of PdC $10. If you have TRK Deadwoods, PM me so we can work something out! Here is a picture of two randomly selected racks of un-cleaned THC $1 and $5s:

Do you have a photo showing the edges of the $2s, $25s, and hundos?

Also interested in a couple of racks of $2s.

Indeed. Not sure if I can swing a whole set so just throwing an offer out there for the $2s from those that do buy a whole set.

Once you get them cleaned up you will fall in love with the set. I've played with these twice at Forrests and they are so awesome to handle. I could just sit at his table and shuffle for hours happily!

Thanks for the tag @inca911 but after playing with them I couldn't live with myself without anything less than 1000 piece limit set of those $2's. You spoiled me.

The whole set is just awesome though, the $100's are also extra spectacular. GLWS/L

Do you know if the chips in this picture are simply cleaned and oiled or were they cherry picked?
Not my pic, but those look to be all three. Please use my pics of the random un-cleared racks as representative of typical quality. They do clean and oil up nicely....
