Windwalker on Hustler Casino Live?!?!?!?!?!? (5 Viewers)

Forget saying you played against them, playing on live stream is great for getting invites to other exclusive live steamed and/or private games. And the full lineup is way better than what we saw initially. Gl to our forum hero!

Wow! I'll be glued to this for sure.

@Windwalker any more details on this fasting thing you're doing? I'm really curious. Is it a known regimen you're following or just something private with a trainer? Looking damn good.
I’m using an app called Zero. It’s been a life changer.

@Windwalker almost finished the Oct 7th stream

Very nice read that something was off in the hand where you raised AJ in the CO and Julie flatted 23 s00ted on the button

Still think you have to call her river bet given board texture, but looks like your spidey senses were tingling when you slowed down on that river

Just started watching the previous stream

Versace Marc and Yoh Viral, I have a feeling I am not going to like these guys, hideous shirt and ridiculous nicknames

@Windwalker @Senzrock I don't play much NLHE Cash, trying to understand the large cbet ($1,200 into $1,450) on the rainbow AT7 flop when holding 9's?

If you double barrel and he’s got JJ or KQ off you might get a fold and spare being rivered.
Reza almost got Chris to fold a king high flush when the board paired on the River and he had squadoosh

Good luck and have fun, Krish! Playing against this line-up could be expensive but will certainly be challenging and instructive. Plus, there's always a chance you won't lose a dime! You might run good, they might run bad, and - what we're all rooting for - despite their fearsome reputations you might rise to the challenge and play well enough to hold your own.

It's super important, though, that you're comfortable losing whatever you put on the table. "Scared money can't win."

I read that in Norman Chad's voice and loved the blast from the past. About time to watch his main event coverage from 2004 up to now.

Who is this guy?
He has a sick Instagram lining the walls with bricks of cash. Baccarat player? Skater?
He’s the world’s biggest baccarat player.
Ya he is a professional gambler. Some casinos refuse to let him play because he is known to win BIG amounts of money. He’s a fun poker player to watch. He was on the first Hustler live game and won over 100k I believe. He gives lots of action.

I was going to say that such a thing is impossible, that baccarat is a sucker's game, that you can no more be a professional baccarat player than you can be a professional roulette player. The odds favor the house, and anyone who continues to play will simply lose all their money eventually.

But I did some research and learned that there are some baccarat side bets that are vulnerable to card counting. Baccarat itself is theoretically beatable by card counting, but the player margin is so ludicrously small that it's not worth the investment of time and bankroll. But some of the side bets are practically beatable, it seems. If that is in fact true, I don't understand why the casinos offer these side bets. I guess they make more on them from the idiot gamblers than they lose from the card counters.

Didn't I read somewhere that Phil Ivey was a consistent winning baccarat player?

Even with theoretically perfect play the sample size required to have a win probability higher than (say) 80% is massive. As always with pro gamblers there’s a high chance that their claims of gambling wins is a front for explaining away elicit activity and/or money laundering.

Where can I read the side bet theory?

Where can I read the side bet theory?
Here's two articles I read on the subject:

https://wizardofodds.com/games/baccarat/dragon-bet/
https://www.888casino.com/blog/side-bets/the-desirability-index-of-baccarat-side-bets

I'm not going to vouch for them, and I might be misreading them, but it seems they're suggesting that by counting cards and making the right side bets when the deck is advantageous you can run enough of a profit to be worth doing. I'm not sure if this accounts for having to sit and play normal baccarat hands (which is a losing proposition even with card counting) while waiting for the deck to become good.

I'm of the opinion that Phil's baccarat stunt was straight-up cheating, but don't tell him I said so. :)

I'm not a big fan of him as a person, but fuck the casino. They setup people to lose LOTS of money with games in their favor, it's about time someone got them to fuck up in favor of the player.
