Kings Crown $1 Color Variations (1 Viewer)

just curious about how many different color versions there are of the crown. I recently obtained a single as part of a larger purchase and noticed the crown is more orange than red. It's the same on both sides so I don't "think" it's just faded but I'm no expert. Any others have the orange or other color crown?

My guess is that was not intended, or from different batches, different print

I suspect the original chips likely have less color variation than subsequent remakes (which likely involved different TRKing manufacturing lots).

"Counterfeit Chips" that seems harsh lol. Wouldn't counterfeit imply that they tried to make them look exactly like the originals, which is clearly not the case. "Tributes" seems more fitting....

Not my image, but a useful one I found a while back. I agree "Counterfeit" is a bit extreme!
