The Key West Resort & Casino will be closing The Key Club page for the month of February, working to create a new member benefits page slated to open on March 1.

When it reopens, access will be limited to guests who've made significant purchases of Key West chips and other items, or those who wish to join by paying a small fee. In exchange, those members will get discounts on playing cards, shipping and other items.

The benefits list is still being worked out. I'd like to include some free Key West playing cards each year, some other "comps," and shipping discounts. It's possible that members could earn blue $1 chips, which they could use to buy items on the site or have sent directly to them.

So, why the change?
The original idea for our member page was to offer discounts to the owners of Key West Resort & Casino chips and playing cards. We opened the "club" doors to everyone here at the Poker Chip Forum (and at two other well-known sites) for the year 2014. It was always the plan to return to a page that was limited to fans and owners of the Key West line of casino chips and playing cards, and to increase benefits and prizes, adding value to your Key West chips.

Frankly, creating a new club page each month was a time-consuming challenge and had some costs involved. I'd like to change that so something more permanent and do more for the members and fans of the Key West.

More to follow!

Sounds like fun! I still have you bookmarked in "Products to buy in the future" folder but I just haven't been able to pull the trigger yet. Still hoping to get a small cash set someday :)
