For those of you in the market for a quality chip, take a look at Key West Casino. These are the best new chips that I have encountered thus far. I can't image a nicer chip. The design, the color, the feel, everything about them is pure class.

I’m a big fan of the Key West’s as well. Great chips and Dennis is top shelf!

I've asked him to authorize the use of the Key West artwork on a different CPC mold with custom colors and different edgespots..... it's always a no-go. :confused

I'm just not a fan of the H-mold, 312-spots, or some of the Key West color combinations.

some of the Key West color combinations.

Every chip set I've looked at so far has one or two chips where I think, "There were doing so good, but this one denomination. Wha.. why?" And also, "What do you mean there's no pink? You gotta have a pink!"

I can't blame him. They are what they are, and just wouldn't be right if they were different.

It'd be easy enough to get something closely inspired by the KWs, and honestly, if I were "redoing" Key West but on a different mold with different colors and spots I'd want to at least slightly transform the artwork to make it distinctive, make it my own, and make it a more perfect fit with whatever mold and color scheme I was transforming it into. Not doing so would be to waste the opportunity.

Key West sits in a perfect niche and are underappreciated. They're perfect for someone who likes the appearance, has the budget for clay but not a huge budget, isn't looking for something fancy with a complicated spot design, isn't looking for bold colors or a dramatic inlay, and just wants a nice set of chips. They're as nice as you can get without spending a lot of money and/or time.

I consider them the premium budget chip, and honestly we should recommend them to more people who show up here just looking for some nice chips.

But mostly they're just too dull for me -- I like bright colors. Gimme peacock and tiger!!
It’s funny - that’s actually exactly why I like them - lol. The simplicity, and the old school look and feel.

I totally agree!

I have a few nice leaded THC sets, but wanted the flexibility to have the exact break down and options I want (fracs, etc). The KW’s offer that flexibility which is really attractive, especially for someone new who’s just looking for a nice set. I like the KW’s better then the Rounders by a mile, and love the look and feel of the H-Mold.

I just can’t justify the price!
