I did some housecleaning on the Key West website over the past few days, and decided to change the banner to a cleaner look.

Just a quick note to let everyone know this was a long-planned (and long overdue) update, and we were not hacked by the Russians.

New features:
  • A new banner with a cleaner look.
  • Three streamlined product category areas -- chips, playing cards and gaming equipment. (Top navigation bar still works.)
  • A new "free online game" logo, made to look like a 1960s Vegas casino sign. Click on it to go the the free games page.
  • I replaced the black scrolling info screen with a "postcard" slideshow. PM any comments about Key West chips, and we'll put it on a "postcard from you."
  • A new look to the slot machine. I added a "top" and "bottom" to make it look more like a slot machine on your screen.
  • A leader board ad at the top of most pages. (Gotta pay the bills.)

The site has always been a work in progress. That work continues while we wait for lots of new Key West chips from David, Jim and the folks at Classic Poker chips.

I like the new look. Poking and prodding...
Bob Ciaffone's website - This is not linked like the other three friends of Key West.
  • Responsible gaming - "7. If you gamble, it should be an activity you enjoy, and not your only activity. Remember to get enough sleep, eat right, exercise and care for your health before scheduling a trip to the casino, card room or online gaming site." This just makes me laugh after every meet-up.
  • I love how the history of Key West includes the entire ASM Vegas saga in less than 1 sentence.
  • Your above post didn't have a link (something that might be helpful to new visitors).
I only wish I had the space to set up an entire Key-West Casino room. That would be the bomb.

Looks nice Dennis! That reminds me I need to visit the cage to place an order soon. I need at least 20 racks and some other toys too given the cash set. ;) The money's budgeted and set aside I just need to get off my lazy butt and finalize everything after I pay MSK next week.

Thank you, Sir.

The link to Bob Ciaffone's site is fixed.

I had to keep the ASM Las Vegas section as short as possible, to avoid using too much foul language.

Tommy is working very hard to get people here to PCF. The idea is for vendors to add to this community, not send them elsewhere. I'll be posting a new contest here for PCF members, and I hope to do a monthly "PCF Only" special starting soon.

I wish I had the space to do a whole Key West building, Maybe some day...

I wasn't in the scene for the whole ASM debacle but I've read enough accounts of it to have a basic understanding of what went down. Seems to me the situation merits a one or two sentence 100,000 foot overview much as you've expertly done. Plenty of companies have changed hands with the previous owners exiting under clouds of various colors, the particulars of which fade into obscurity as the years go by.

Rehashing bad memories isn't going to help anybody and especially not someone new to the hobby just looking to acquire some quality chips. All that really matters is the current state of affairs. I'm glad that CPC exists with great customer service (@David Spragg) and an outstanding product. As long as the actions of some guy years ago don't impact the quality of today's work it's irrelevant.

One other thing I find interesting about Key West is the excruciating level of detail (and I don't mean that in a bad way) you provide on the source of your offerings. So many other places advertise casino weight, casino quality, shut up pay us and you'll hopefully get something close enough to what you want, doesn't really matter because it all comes from China anyway... There's not a lot of retailers in any industry that go out of their way to advertise who their key suppliers are.

Still adding, changing and tweaking things every day as new ideas come up.
