Our October Key Club contest question again comes from the Old West, and a gunfighter who is actually in the Poker Hall of Fame. Famous lawman, gunfighter and card player William "Wild Bill" Hickok was killed while playing poker in Deadwood, South Dakota in 1876. Everyone knows he held what would be forever known as "The Dead Man's Hand."

What were those cards, and their suits? (Hint: There were only four cards. He had discarded one and was waiting for a replacement to be dealt.)

If you know the answer, send it by PM to dennis63 here on the Poker Chip Forum. (Don't post the answer, as you'll be giving it to everyone!)
One winner will be selected at random from all correct answers sent by PM by midnight on October 31.

October's drawing will be held at 8 p.m. EDT on November 1. The prize this month is $25 Key West items, cash or casino credit. All prizes are delivered to the winner for free.
