After lurking for a while I'm finally making an account so that I can get some replacements for my slugged abs chips.

Side question: do you guys prefer paper or plastic cards? I love the designs on paper but the faster shuffling and durability of plastic cards are really growing on me.

welcome! glad to have you aboard! you'll find the set you're looking for here for sure. plastic is def the way to go. paper gets bent if you look at them wrong and the plastic will still be going strong after many'a shuffle and bend:cool

Hello and welcome!

Plastic cards. Lots of comparative info on those here, too.

I can't research (and inevitably get into) the varieties of plastic cards. If I keep investing into QoL improvements that my table doesn't appreciate I won't have enough money for poker lol. I've got a set of KEM arrows which are supposed to be decent. Gonna have to be happy with that for now

Good thinking, get the use out of the cards you have... save that chedda for the upgrade to chippies :cool

Just get some @desjgn cards. You won't have to keep investing. You'll buy them and keep using them:)

The KEMs will rot before you'd call upon them again. My KEMs will never see the felt.

IMHO!

Hello, welcome and Plastic (although I have dozens of sets of Paper cards from casino's for which I also own the chips. But, with the paper cards we rarely play more than two or three games with them)

wise decision to convert from lurker to member. This forum has a lot of benefits. welcome aboard

Welcome! Definitely recommend plastic cards!
You will likely find cards for sale here frequently
