Two Pair
Hi all,
I recently received samples of some Paulson chips (casino used, but still pretty sharp corners), and also some China clay samples (royals, milanos and the bank).
The royal chips designs were stunning, but I found they were far too slick.
The milanos looked and felt and sounded most like a true clay chip, in my opinion, but I still found them to be a little too slick.
The bank chips, in my opinion, were perfect. They were not slick like the other two China clay sets. They shuffled great. They had a weight that was close to the Paulsons, but felt just a hair heavier (even though I saw John Hobby’s video where he weight them and they were the same weight as Paulsons). They were also dead flat. The only thing I could find that some people may dislike about them is that they looked ‘plasticy’. Other than the plasticy look, I actually preferred the feel of them slightly more than the Paulson chips.
Just thought I’d share my opinion.
Cheers,
Adam.
