Welcome! So much awesome information here, but if you’ve been lurking I’m sure you’re already well aware!

Welcome to chippers anonymous, we all have a problem and most of us have admitted it! But very few of us have ever made it to remission! Let's see some pics of the new sets!

I just ordered my 2nd set today. so no pics yet. I bought 600 HSI primaries from the black Friday sell. Im now on the hunt for some fracs..

My first set is 300 Majestics. So far I am very pleased with the chips. We play micro stakes, usually .05/.10 or .25/.50 NLHE. The set is 50-$1, 125-$.25 and 125 $.05

Below is my kit. Theres some sample sets in the pic along with a printout of poker hands and cards.

Excellent choices! The majestics have great colors and you'll love the HSI chips! Although you may have to locate an alternate rack for fracs and do a relabel, finding original fracs will be a challenge

Yeah I figured they would be hard to get. Maybe we can go from .10/.20 blinds to 1/2 haha.
do you think custom CPC chips would work in a set of Paulson HSI? If the diameter and thickness are the same I might look into it.

The texture wont be the same, or the molds. Paulsons have hat and canes and CPC doesn't own the rights to that. You could do it, if that wouldnt bother you, perhaps on the plain mold. Personally it would tilt me a bit lol, I would recommend relabeling opposed to CPC honestly. If it's not something you want to do yourself if you find the chips theres vendors here who can mill them and label them for you, or you can simply order labels and label right over the original inlay

A chip problem... is a good problem to have... they have medicine on this site... but you build up a tolerance and just need more!! Lol

Welcome to the forum! Rather than going with CPCs, find the color you like in a Paulson RHC chip, send them to @Josh Kifer to perform his surgery on them... find a designer to make your inlay, send that to @Gear to work his magic on your new inlays and boom! You have your fracs!!

I do not recommend mixing chip brands, both are awesome! But not mixed together.

Patience is a virtue here... we all want to buy or sets, open the box and be ready to play, but taking your time, and finding the right chips, that's what it's all about!!

Any questions you may have. Feel free to reach out via PM or post here!! Always people willing to help a fellow chipper!!

yeah a different texture would bother me... The mold not so much. I will make the decision when my Rounders sample set comes in the mail.

Milling some RHC chips sounds like a good option. If the stickers are the same quality as the majestics then I'm fine with it. Ill have to keep my eye out for some HSI fracs or get some RHC chips that can be milled.

As someone new to the poker chip community I still cant get over why Paulson or GPI doesn't sell poker sets to the public. Just blows my mind lol

Its unfortunate that they stopped selling to the home market. There's a multitude of reasons why they won't.
The labels/stickers made by @Gear are top notch, and theres a good chance he already has artwork for fracs. On the plus side there are lots of options for RHC chips that can be relabeled. You also aren't limited to just gray or blue as they were made from the casino, the beauty of relabels is you can pair just about any chip you like in the line up with the set

A hearty Iowa welcome! What part of Illinois?

Hello from Illinois! I've been lurking for awhile now and finally decided to create an account. Im fairly new to poker. Just bought my 2nd set. I think I might have a chip problem.:)
It's okay to be a lot more into poker chips than into poker. Poker is fine... but chips are divine!

Welcome to the forum.

The rounders sample set came in! This is my first time handling CPC chips. I am impressed with the quality. If it wasn't for the chiproom sell, I probably would buy a set of these. I applied a small amount of mineral oil on just the edges.

Does anyone have pics of used CPC chips? I would like to know how the edges hold up after heavy use.
