So this is a fun one.

These colors are a little bonkers, but they're old school cool - leaded, shaped, textured inlays with a rad jester/joker graphic.

  • I don't have a single original frac but the originals are bangers. So far, the Foxwoods $25 is about as close as I can come with a green 414 edge. I'm putting off murdering these until it's absolutely necessary because Foxwoods is my home casino (at least while Encore Boston's poker room remains closed). It's a good substitute because the green is close to the same color as the edge spots on the original $1.
  • The $1s are some of the most disgusting chips I've ever encountered and they're so disgusting that I stopped halfway through my two racks because it was so exhausting. The other half still need to be cleaned and oiled. They're bicycle tires but unfortunately all the ones in existence are in this same condition (I'm almost certain).
  • I'm about 42 $5s short of two racks (I think I have another 10x lying around in my spare pile somewhere), which should be sufficient for this smaller set, though I wouldn't say no to a third rack if anyone is feeling generous. Anyway, the $5s are obviously rock stars here.
  • The $20s are near-impossible to grab, though I've had some luck. Not all of these are originals - I'm using NYNY $1s to fill in gaps as they're a very close match (though not exact).
  • I'm adding a $100 chip using the Scandia $1 414. I was able to find a dead mint rack of these but I won't need that many for most of my games and I prefer a bit more used to match overall condition. I may have a full rack hitting the trade threads at some point.
  • I've been working on a barrel of Foxwoods THC snappers. They're great chips and I was considering using it as a $500 or a show'em chip. I kind of don't have the heart to murder them quite yet - but we'll see.

Also, I did the "art" myself for the cut cards. By that, I mean I redrew the Joker logo as a vector and then created the cut cards in Photoshop in one of the GBs. I then sent that same vector to @LeGold who masterfully created these:

For any history/nerd/Batman buffs, the serial number I chose on the dice "42540" is the date of the first appearance of the Joker in Batman #1, April 25, 1940.

Very Nice Justin! Been hunting those Scandias for JW quarters for a while now... saddly I am probably going to have to use these

I know all 4 same color sucks but not enough Scandia To go around! Lol

Nice trick on the $20s! Lol I have to admit my heart stopped for a second. Definitely not enough of those in the wild for 3 of us hunting them. Someday my dream is to hit 80... but only finding one a year and most rocks overturned already from Cali chip owners... it's not looking real likely

May have to stay a 60/40 rack! Planning Silver Sevens for a $500 chip that I will never need, but they look cool!

Good luck with the hunt!

For those who don't know what the original frac looks like

My favorite Poker Chip! We actually found two this year, well one at the convention and @JeepologyOffroad damn near made me cry handing me one at the New Mexico meet up! I doubt 2022 will yield that many, only about 5 - 6 that we know of that we don't own and those owners are not letting go! Haha

Trrraaaaaaddde. I've only got a rack, though. Are you using the purples as $100s?

Same color spots tilted me too much.

Silver Sevens are not leaded and also extremely difficult to find (I think we have 5 now and usually like $10 - $12 each)

Yes using San Bruno Purples for $100s... I know the matching Edge spot blows, but I really think Purple is the Perfect color here.
