I saw a similar fatal crash of a Shelby Cobra here in Michigan last month. It was underneath a semi trailer but from the side not the back. It was pretty unnerving to see on my morning drive to work. No idea how it happened.

From the comments, the driver was in their early 20's and just bought it. Way too fast into a curve is what it looks like.
