In!

But just want to mention that my daughter is graduating from high school the previous weekend so not exactly sure when we are having her pahty (Boston accent recommended). I’ve told the wife that it can’t be this weekend but you know how that goes sometimes.

I was going to comment to please save a spot for my brother AL this year! The life of the party in 2021

Thing #1 and Thing #2 on the left there!

Somehow they let both "black sheep" make the final table... though it wasn't long for me!

If I could choose 1 person to attend a Meet up with other than Ms. @FordPickup92 (Obviously) it would be ole @72o !

Looking forward to it AL!

LOL. You’re too kind, Ben. I had a blast especially sitting together at the main event table (a couple different times actually). I’ve never been outgoing at all but this whole event just felt so comfortable and I was just so excited to be hanging with great people. But lets face it bud, you and Brie bring the party and I was just glad to be a participant.

Did some meetup prep last weekend, brewed a batch of peanut butter cup stout. It was one of the most challenging batches I've ever done, needed constant attention to prevent a boilover.

Aaaaaand it was complicated further by this little nugget thats worthy of the "Things that are bullshit" thread. I have a DIY chiller that I've been using for years, you drop it into the kettle with like 10 to 15 minutes left, then run cold water through it to cool the wort.

Well I went to drop it in and noticed this....

I keep this in the shed and there must have been a pocket of water that got stuck when I was draining it last time, froze and burst the pipe. Had to do some quick goat thinking, went old school with an ice bath in the kitchen sink.

(Ice bags #2 and #3 were courtesy of @juankay20 from last years meetup - last ones! ;) :ROFLMAO: )

Should be ready and on tap for my holiday game, and will be bottled up for the meetup, pending approval from the Jersey locals (and assuming they don't drink it all).

Will take suggestions for the batch fresh on tap for the meetup in the spring.

Wow, seems like quite the adventure! I love peanut butter and I love stouts, this is right up my alley. What's the ABV roughly?

Sounds awesome man. Hopefully there’ll be some to taste in June. I definitely need to strap one on next year…for some reason I didn’t drink a lot last time. Stupid me.

Irish, man, this looks right up my alley. I grew up in Freehold 20 minutes away, let me see what I can do. Don't save a spot but I would love to meet y'all. Starting to get hooked into this whole chipping thing...

Is there plans for a .05/.10 cash game with non denominated slippery heavy dice chips and paper cards, on a hard wooden kitchen table this year?
If so, please allow pot splashing, string bets, and grabbing change from other players 'bets, while wagering is still live in the round.
That should be a blast !!

In, but only if it's fixed limit and betting is capped after one raise.

Guest sets are always welcome, and I'll even set up an old skool card table for you guys in the appropriate game room:
