Trying the Kaimat approach. Looking for a rack of Jack quarters - paying $1000 + shipping. Any takers?

That's almost like Pick Hobson TRK frac kinda money. This Jack stuff is insane!!

GLWS. That offer seriously ought to do the trick!

The fracs are stunning, even nicer in person.

I won't be parting with any of mine anytime soon, but at that price, I'm pretty sure a rack should shake loose somewhere. Good luck!

Best of luck to ya!

@navels did say that he was considering my offer before, but I retracted it too quickly (not sure how serious he was about that)

WOW! I cannot believe you haven't gotten these yet

There's not many of them out there, but even I'm surprised a bit.

There were only 2000 total of the fracs. With all the sample sets out there, and other people who paid inflated prices to obtain their own racks (who, like myself, likely aren't interested in selling, there can't be too many racks of these left out there. Maybe 10 racks or so??

Anything yet???

Lol, I wish.

Yeah, this is it right here. Honestly, I'm not that surprised. I'll keep my ears to the ground, but I'm not super hopeful at this point.

Ok, one last shot. 1100 or a rack of snappers with your choice of label + 800. Not guessing this gets it done either, but will take one more crack before turning my focus towards other projects.

This is just crazy. How many known racks of Pick Hobson TRK fracs are there, from the what...1960s? Like, 3 or 4 racks of them? I am not sure they have sold for this much. Find a relabel! You can do something totally awesome, seriously. This is just nutty.

Maybe the owners of these elusive quarters haven’t seen this thread?

Maybe someone should tag the owners? I don’t know who they are.

But do they have the security features (UV stamps, alpha dot)??

I think I know of at least 10 racks accounted for by PCF members. My OCD wouldn't let me have jack card room relabels mixed in.

This... The Jack Detroit was never a casino. No history, no nothing. The chip isn’t that attractive imo and like Mel said, you could make something better than the ‘real thing’ that was never actually a real thing to start with.

Find a relabel!

I wanted to be ok with a relabel, I really did. Something about the sound though - it grates at my ears and I can't handle it.

Meh. Not that I need to justify my tastes to you, but I think the chips are absolute fire in person. And I'm from Detroit - I played in the very first poker tournament Greektown ever hosted. I have the same alma mater as crazy Dan Gilbert. There's a more interesting and relatable history behind these chips to me than most casinos that closed before I was born. Also mint inlaid Paulson quarters!

Anyway, we're done here, thanks PCF for coming through for me! :).
