Has anybody tried murdering the GO $25 with the giant inlay? Is that even doable?
Yea, I did it on 1. Only reason I did it was so I could take a pic. The Giant inlay chips are not a good candidate for murder/inlay replacement. As per Gear labels - new labels will not look good as they will not sit down in the hat and cane impressions

No, I meant to replace with normal labels. I hate those giant ones. Does the inlay leave too much residue?

ok so here is what I am talking about. If you murder chips with the Giant Inlay they will look like the 1st pic and If you try and put normal size labels over the top they are going to look like crap like in the 2nd pic because the label does not cover the portion of the chip that has the impression from the old inlay. An option to cover that area would be a label that was the same size as the GO chip inlay. The problem with that is going to be that the new label will not sit down in the impressions from the mold where the hats and canes are.

The whole thing with the GO's is one Giant mess. Best advice is just don't bother with murdering or re-labeling any chip that has the Giant oversized inlay.

Love the post. Great information on why you shouldn't attempt this. I am surprised that with the creativity on this forum people haven't come up with a way of hot pressing a special type of gear printed label into the hats.

But I agree, until that technology is created it's best to stay away from murdering oversized RHCs. However, I would hope that any casino that makes an oversized RHC is spending the extra money on getting a fantastic set of artwork. For example, my Aces chips up above have very nice artwork and I don't mind them having the oversized RHC. I would never consider murdering them.

Even the FHC chips that people have recently purchased have a very nice face. Certainly better than a lot of other casinos have produced. The only thing that I personally don't like are the GO chips. I just don't like the grand opening theme or artwork personally. But if someone does, then they are great.

Love the chips, just not the size of the inlay. Maybe hate was too strong a word.
I wouldn't say I hate the Giant inlays, but I would say that I don't like them enough to warrant having a playable set of them. I do have several individual and sample sets like PNY, Vineyards etc that in some cases look quite nice. Think of how much better Vineyards would/could have been with a regular 1 1/16" dia inlay?

Thanks man! Appreciate you doing this and posting photos. Yeah, I wasn't thinking about the impression when I asked my question. Makes a lot of sense now. Those look awful.

However, I seem to remember @GetUrShineBox murdering a Cleveland Snapper which was oversized RHC and turning into an HSI chip. I had thought it came out great, actually. Maybe if he's got a good picture of one, we could say that _some_ ORHC chips can be murdered...
