I'm oh-so-close to finalizing my custom set. Last piece I need is just 1 (one!) rack of JACK Cincinnati $1s in new or excellent condition - that's it!

Really, really hope someone can help me with this!

If you have one rack available for sale, or perhaps some sort of trade, please PM me...

Thanks for considering!!!

The think about the "cleaned" chips in Jim's last sale, is they are "sorta cleaned." I'm going back through some of mine and cleaning them again. Those that he has should clean up well if the condition matches. But if most of yours are mint and these are too used, then yeah, I understand.

I did the same thing he did. I bought 500 cleaned chips, then sorted through them all. My THC set than I'm going to use mine with are all casino used. So I don't need the really nice ones. He had a nother batch that were closer to near mint that he sold for $2.75. I did the same with about 50 of my 500. The ones he's selling now are the second best ones from his batch.

There’s a huge range of what is being called mint / near mint. As long as the pics are honest representations whatever but people paying 2.75 a piece for these don’t have to tolerate even small imperfections.

These are chips I sold as near mint a while back:

I have some more 1s coming in soon - there’s almost zero chance there’ll be enough to make a rack but I’ll pm what I get if it’s half a rack or more.

That would be great, thank you!

I'm confused about what you are saying here - " people paying 2.75 a piece for these don’t have to tolerate even small imperfections."

The chips in your photo are very nice. Much like the ones I sold for the same price. But they are NOT perfect. They are NOT Mint. Even in your photo, I can see small flea bites on many of them, and can only see about 1/3rd of each chip. So I'm just not understanding what you are trying to say.

This was as minty as they came...everything else is casino used (but in more then 1 degree -> VGC - used)

I didn’t advertise mine as mint fwiw I said near mint.

as for only seeing 1/3rd of the chip - I plucked out any that had dirt, rack checks or marker spots anywhere. The ones with cosmetic issues were a separate lot. Different markets.

the chips above from Thomacetti on the other hand could almost pass for new.

I’ve probably bought close to 1,000 of the “cleaned” chips from the chip room sale. Not going to lie. They’re very beat.

Agree on the 1s that were cleaned, but not clean comment. I worked pretty hard to get mine shiny white. They are still not close to mint, nor did TCR advertise or price as such. They do contribute to an excellent set for frequent play though IMO.
