ISIS threatens lone-wolf attacks in Las Vegas (1 Viewer)

I refuse to legitimize their existence by referring to them as Islamic State, ISIS, or any other such self-important nonsense. They're just stupid fucking religious asshole killers.

Call 'em FRAK if you feel the need to use initials.

Also whatever that link links to, caused way too many popups.

If you think the Las Vegas Review-Journal is bad, you should check out the Denver Post website sometime. Seriously... news websites these days make me not want to read the news.

- Load news website.

- click ... close ... click ... click ... close ....

- finally, I can read some ne.... FULL SCREEN POP UP AD!!!

- F*ck this, I'm out.

The short clip of the Strip was determined to be 2015 footage

Can't we just sue them for unauthorized use of the Las Vegas strip video?

It's a straight up cult. I dont understand why that word isnt used in the press.

You will do far more to save your life by buckling your seatbelt in the cab than anything else you are likely to do / not do while in Vegas.

Being killed in a Vegas terror strike is a really remote event. Somewhere between "win the lottery" and "struck by lightning" kind of unlikely. Worry about something else. Or even better, don't worry at all and have a good time.

Really, have a good time and harvest some sweet live chips! -=- DrStrange

Extra hate for ISIS for fucking with one of the best Dylan songs, slaughtered below by the White Stripes.

We're going to Vegas next month and my wife keeps bringing this up and asking if we should be concerned.

Fuuuck that. ISIS will not interrupt my PLOFLIPS.

Pfft. Everybody knows ISIS douchebags don't play poker. They play slots.

  1. I use AdBlock. No ads on the RJ site, but it allows me to turn it off for certain websites - like PCF, so Tommy can still get paid. (y)
  2. While the odds of being a victim of a terrorist attack is slim, Vegas has also had a couple of shootings and at least one serious stabbing on the strip in this year alone. Add to that the number of cars vs pedestrian "attacks" in the past year or so, and you have just cause for keeping your eyes open.

    PCF meet-up perhaps????
Vegas always has been a fun place. Always will be a fun place (despite the corporations trying their best to ruin it through extra fees). We just need to keep it that way. If you see something, say something. Nobody is going to leave a backpack just sitting around. Point it out to one of the many law enforcement officers and go about your buisness. When walking down the street be aware of your "outs" in case you need to get out of the way - the same automatic way you (should) remain looking for "outs" while driving.

From my first trip (where I learned they are the pick-pocket capitol) to today I will always enjoy myself and take reasonable precautions. Perhaps more than the average bear, but not enough to dampen the fun by even 1 notch.

They posted a pic of the Bellagio the week before I went one year. Guess what? Nothing happened.

The next year, Vdara's fire alarm went off at 4 am. Because a, "..broken water valve.." like that makes sense.

Bring your street smarts, if you die a glorious death remember everyone related to anyone backing an attack on any casino will end up with no money, no job, no future and two broken legs.

Top tip, don't move with a massive herd of people, like leaving a concert hall. Headlines sound better when lots of people are affected not, "Two people were injured when someone popped near them in the middle of nowhere."
