That is true! @p5woody is amazing!All I gotta say is @p5woody is a magician. If I was a bit richer, I'd be all over these sets. Although I miss the midnight-blue colored $2 chip.
I am regretting a bit not ordering the $2 chip on my first order. I may even send CPC an email tomorrow asking to add on 100 pc of my $2 chip... My plan was to wait till I get these and then put in an add-on order for the $2, $10, and $20 chip.

When I did my Midnight Casino earlier in the year (yes, it was originally called Midnight's Casino but I allowed the change for absolutely no reason at all other than his chip design was SO good, and I really had no reason to call it Midnight's), I gave the guy 3 basic guidelines.
1. The city and name
2. The moon becoming more full
3. I wanted a design that would make a 20-year old girl say "I gotta get me one of these". (most of my friends are metalheads, not poker fanatics. They drink beer, listen to metal, watch sports and want to have something fun and vibrant)
When he dropped the first design, my jaw hit the floor. I will tell you that you're going to have a long wait on the CPC's, the turnaround time is no less than 6 months. I had planned to do either old Paulsons or CPC's but eventually went with Sunfly's, and those are sweet too.
Also he refused money from me because I was on unemployment so I put an artist fee of like $.02 a chip, $.03 for bounty/rebuy chips and $.10 for a dealer button to raise him money because I felt he needed something for his work.
Stoked that you pulled the trigger on this Duffy! If the graphics on your poker maven's site are any indication, these are going to be fantastic.
It's always fun getting your take on things and seeing the ideas that you come up with. So glad that you're back on the forum after a brief hiatus playing golf

This was a strange year, to say the least. I typically travel every week for work so when the golf courses opened here in Chicago and I wasn't traveling the only thing to really do was golf at my club. Let me just say, I did take advantage of the work from home situation! I was able to play 70+ rounds (proof below
) this year, it was a new personal record. I really enjoy the PCF community and plan to stay active on here!

I made a slight change to the edge spots on my two frac chips. I was lucky I was able to get the change in a few weeks back, but I just wanted to share the new look. Thanks to @BearMetal for the consulting!

Now the million-dollar question/debate... Do I clean and oil my brand new chips when they arrive? I am leaning towards no as CPC said it isn't necessary to do that.
I definitely think they're going to arrive dusty. If you do a search here, most people say that they wipe the factory dust off with a damp microfiber cloth.
The only reason to oil them is if you want those colors to pop. But, I am certainly far from the expert on CPC's since my first set hasn't arrived yet. I would absolutely reach out to the PCF community and see what their experience has been and that the people who have multiple sets have to say about it.

That sounds about right. When I received both of my custom 43MM CPC chips, they were a little dusty but nothing a damp microfiber cloth couldn't fix.
Now I need to think about how many sample sets I will make from my chips. I know the first two sets are going to @BearMetal and @p5woody.
Yes. Wipe the dust off and oil. They pop after you oil. Not too much oil, though. The thread covers how much, you can see my posts on how much I used on my CPCs.
If you search PCF, you get everything from doing nothing to damp cloth, to bathtub to oiling. I say start small by damp ragging, and then oiling if you're not happy with the colors.

Thanks! I have looked at a few threads about it. I lightly oiled some of my 43MM chips when they were delivered a few months back. It does make the colors pop a little more, that is for sure.
Just draw a warm bath, jump in, and bring the chips with you. Dump in some bath oils, and you’re good to go.

Looks like today may be the big day for delivery! The only issue is only one package shows as "out for delivery"... USPS isn't the best for tracking so I hope its just an error. Worst case it looks like I may get one of the two pacakges today.
