who has it? Thoughts? Favorite new feature?

Have it. Haven't noticed a single new feature that will make any difference in my life yet. Are there supposed to be any? Mostly it's just a slightly new looking OS. Which is fine, but I find it hilarious when people talk about how every new iOS update is somehow revolutionary.

I'd love to take a group of kids who have never seen anything previous to iOS 7 or so, show them the very first iOS and tell them it's the update. 100% certain that a sizeable percentage would say it's a huge improvement. "I love the simplicity."

It is nice to be able to delete most of the useless apps but other than that... hmmkay.

After you scroll up you can swipe to get to the music/podcast function.

There's some new features in iMessage as well. Nothing that makes my life any easier. I agree that there's little change with these things.

I dislike the control center coloring, it makes it look crap. The messaging stuff is interesting but mostly useless unless you are a kid. It seems like they changed a lot of UI stuff for no reason other than to have a change.

Be careful with upgrades - several people I know have had their phones bricked with the upgrade and had to connect to iTunes to finish the process.

After a day of using the new iOS, these are pretty much my exact thoughts.

Does anyone not want to reach through the monitor and slap Jony Ives' dumb face when they see him looking all serious as if he's spending his days curing ball cancer?

I remember him waxing poetic about iOS 9 and you could tell he so very badly wants to be seen as an artist.

There's some new features in iMessage as well. Nothing that makes my life any easier.

The ability to turn read receipts on per conversation is handy. I don't mind some folks knowing but others I would prefer they assume that their messages are going into the wide abyss. Now if I can just get my wife's phone from her for 30 seconds I can enable this feature in our conversation so next time I text home I can tell if she's ignoring me or if her phone really is upstairs charging.

Well we're already finding great uses for the new messaging tools including My Little Pony pr0n as well as...actual pr0n.
