Evening all from Texas!
I was a longtime chiptalk member and I had been away from the hobby for a few years, but I'm back! And the addiction was revived as my older son has taken an interest in poker. Lessons aren't free though, and we got to have good chips on the table!

My avatar is from a set of custom ceramics I put together for tourney's probably 15 years ago.

Now, I'm looking to put together a cash set. Haven't really determined what yet. I'm sorta leaning towards a "Frankenset" of chips from real casinos. I have several barrels of Oceanside Card Club $10 chips. I'm making a trip to Vegas next week and I would really love to pick up a few racks of Mirage $1, but without a poker room now I'm not overly confident I can piece them together. Going to really miss playing poker at the Mirage......
Those sandwiches they used to bring out at midnight.... they were so bad.... yet so appreciated!

I love a good mixed set! I created a couple and they are some of my favorites to put in play. Paris chips are pretty available and there's folks here who harvest a good selection of them.
