Hi all from Toronto, Canada
I've been a casual poker player for a long time (always playing with dice chips) but I actually got into poker chips through board games. I play a lot of economic games and chips are infinitely better than using paper money that most games come with. After extensive research, I upgraded my dice chips to poker knights (why would you spend more than $100 on a set of poker chips?) and now recently pulled the trigger on a set of china clays from Apache. I also have a set of ceramic chips ("Iron Clays") that came with a deluxe game kickstarter but I don't like the feel or the aesthetics of ceramic chips - maybe I just need to try better chips.
Now I'm thinking about organizing some more poker games just to spend some more time with these chips.
Thanks for reading!
