I bought 2 decks of Copags, one(regular index) from Amazon and the other(jumbo index) from a poker store near me. I noticed there is quite a difference in the colour of the ink as well as the feel of the card. Anyone happen to know why this might be the case?
The one above is "security ink" and the one below is "regular ink". The manufacturers usually offer a variety of their deck of cards (ink, size, indexes, quality of the paper / plastic card, prints, etc.).

They never do.
Darker shade of red is better visible in security cameras therfore it is prefered by pokerrooms and casinos , brigter shade looks smuggy.
