Organized a Matsui plaque group buy that should ship from Korea soon. The value of the order is around $3500. Anyone have any insights on import fees? One of the members in the group organized a group buy 10 years ago and was charged about 5% but looking for more recent info. Much appreciated!

I was under the impression poker chips had no import tax. Mine didn;t but it was just 1k chips, also think the 70k in the big group buy going on would have been mentioned

There may not be any tariffs or duties, but I believe import/sales taxes against the total value declared are still in effect?

Expect to pay brokerage fees, even if no taxes or duties are applied. Varies from 75-200, and unless you’ve arranged with a broker beforehand, you get whoever the shipping company decides to use (ask me how I know)
