A lot gets said about my (and others, by extension) resale of chips, yet I do my very best to make sure that the people who help me with pickups and shipping are rewarded fairly.

5. There will always be more chips. Don't be a c*nt. We're all adults, and poker chips are a completely unnecessary expense for everyone. If someone else finds chips before you it doesn't make them a bad person, and it doesn't mean you'll never get a good deal.

6. Any questions? PM me. I'm really not the monster I've been made out to be.

(I'm sure this will be flooded with posts about my hypocrisy or how I will spend eternity burning in hellfire. But let's try to keep it civil. And let's all remember that while we are fighting about who is taking advantage of who on the forum, no one is arguing that we should be telling sellers that their stuff is worth more than they are selling it for. If you want to be a truly good person, go around searching and letting people know the market value of their chips; otherwise just keep rationalizing your actions and shut the fuck up.)

Thankfully the new custom set will allow me time to see if I can ferret out some THC's or CPC's and get a price that's reasonable by playing a longer game.

But yeah, there were a number of factors that went into me making the final decision on Sunfly 43's. A couple of boardies here were definitely not acting in the Kumbaya spirit you mention, plus cost is going to be a factor.

You definitely get more information on the full website with regard to cancelled/ended/sold listings. It shows pretty clearly if a BIN was just cancelled, ran out with no purchase, or if it was sold.

What you don't see of course, is if a seller cancelled an auction (for whatever reason) and then sold the chip privately. Is that allowed? No. Does it happen? Sure - I actually purchased a chip that way a while back after recognizing a seller and contacting him outside of eBay. It was an auction (with no bids), but the same post-listing info applies.

Am I reading correctly? You're saying you're 47?

20 year olds are only hot when you are also 20. Once you are 30 they cease to be hot as soon as you try to have a conversation with them. If you were really 47, you'd know this.

First off, that's so wrong, I've met some people that fall into your definition but I've also met people as young as 19 who have had their head and heart in the right place, unless you're like my brother who was such a boring old fart and dedicated to his job that his hair turned white (not gray) when he was 29. Oh and I can tell you right now that some of the people I've talked to who were 20-odd years old got me to try things that I wouldn't try otherwise, like listening to some hip-hop music, watching shows that my family despised and even trying new adventures like indoor skydiving.

I actually am in a group with two guys who are 51 and 50 and both are in relationships with 21 year old women. Besides that, I'm simply not excluding the possibility. I addressed this in a meme I made a few years ago.

(Late to this thread, which has already gone off the tracks in several directions, but FWIW...)

If it’s on eBay, I just assume that pretty much everybody on this site has seen it already, or will see it very soon. (We all get email updates from eBay on obvious searches, right?)

The exception is the rare eBay seller who either doesn’t know what they have, or in some way lists their chips without keywords that are going to trigger alerts. Maybe a typo (“Paulsen”).

As for Craigslist or other commonly-searches sites: If they’re not in my area, I’m not competing for them. And honestly, nothing but dice chips seems to come up in my rural area.

So I guess what I’m saying is... IDG what the beef is.

I'm not sure what your point is. If you're referring to Tara Reade, I don't think anyone accused you of sexual assault, so I don't know why you'd bring up Biden.

If you're talking about age difference, Tara Reade was 29 in 1993 while Joe Biden was 51... I think you said as a 47 year old you'd be willing to date an 18 year old? Age-difference-wise, you're Joe Biden.

I actually know a guy who, in his early 40s, became a gopher/assistant to a wealthy lady in her 90s. Before that he was a very amateur carpenter — almost accidentally set my house on fire using a blowtorch to strip wood.

Anyway, he married her about a year before she died. Now owns several houses and lives the life of Riley. No one had the stomach to ask whether he ever consummated it.

Sometimes hosts poker games, but I only went once because he allows smoking at the table, and all his other friends smoke.

Per above... No one I know had the stomach to ask him. She was truly ancient.

Note: When he began working for her, he always dressed in a fresh oxford shirt and bow tie. Just in case anyone is looking for tips on how to accomplish this. ;^/
