Hi All,

Now that I have most of the WTHC chips sorted, I have a milling setup for WTHC fracs and the poker / bar / wine room build is well under way my mind is turning to the poker tables themselves (3 of).

I have found a UK based manufacturer to help build the 10 seater tables but I now need to think up a design for the cloth.

Clearly it needs to involve the top hat and cane I think, maybe a world/globe symbol. Ideally suits mold too

I also live on a road called ‘The Grange’ so was thinking of possibly adding Grange Casino / Grange Poker Room or similar. Would fit with my Sunfly group buy ceramics.

I would love to hear ideas about what I could do here!

Some Pron!

I really like the design but not a fan of having a designated spot for the community cards (even if you have a dealer). Same with the seat numbers.

I wouldn’t dare design a table around a particular chip set, since I change path and sell too often but you seem kinda set with your choice :D.

Are you sure you have enough chips, though?

I think this is a much better idea than designing the table after a set for the same reason mentioned by @Eriks (even if you are clearly pot committed with that WTHC set)

I’d keep the design clean and simple (no designated spots for community cards etc): personal favorites include @WhiteMamba1646 The Havana Cardroom and @Windwalker Krish’s

Looking forward to a game in west London!

Thanks for the feedback!!!

i do need to have a dealer cutout added to my design as we always have a dealer (well nearly always!)

I agree with not designing a felt around a chip set, although it does look great though. Personally not a fan of cup holders either, but to each their own. Looks like a lot of work going into your poker room, can’t wait to see it finished.

Looks like you have a fair amount of space to host so I look forward to a game at some point in the future! As for the table, have you considered adding a betting line?

Noted!

I have seen a few spillages at poker nights without cupholders - is there an easy solution for that?

Chris

It´s still the best (because the simplest) solution, even if not the cheapest.
I also recently switched from cupholder to side tables.
You simply have more space at the table and the drinks don't get lost on the playing surface.

That design looks cool, but at the end of the day go with what makes you happy mate. :)
