That looks like it came out really good! Did you have to tweak the bit to make sure it's truly flat? I worry that some of these bits may be slightly concave as they're designed to flatten stock so are meant to pass over the work piece.

Honestly I didn't check. Looked and felt right though. First few chips look and stack nice.

I’d go with a 7/8” bit personally, that’s what I use. If you’re going to mill THCs 1” is larger than the center recess and it’s going to give to a weird oversized inlay...
