I went to Harrahs Kansas City last week, and lo and behold, I saw fracs being used on a craps table for the first time in all my years of frequenting casinos. I had heard of some being used in the past at casinos with low limit tables, but I had never personally encountered them. I’m wondering if they are going to roll this out to other Caesars properties, or if this was a one off?

What were the minimums? Never seen fracs at a craps table before either!

Casino Queen in east St Louis has fracs on theirs (or used to) $15 - 6/8 pays $17.50.

those snappers in better condition would make a fantastic $1 relabel!

I wonder if they normally run a $15 table there, then? That makes sense if people want to bet $15 6&8 instead of $18. The table was surprisingly busy at 1:30 am on a Tuesday/Wednesday. I went back the next night around 10:00 pm, and they had two craps tables running with at least 6 or more players at each table. I’m not sure if they are normally that busy, or if the lower table minimum attracted players.

All their chips were dirty as hell. There was no point trying to ask for more. By the way, I did ask the boxman for those chips so I could take them home as souvenirs, as I know how to bet properly and hadn’t received any for payouts. He said yes, and I bought them. Ethically harvested :)

I was surprised that those $500 chips, which were confusingly orange, were so dirty.
All of their $500s and $1ks are revered. The $1k is purple per gaming commission rules

Brother they would make an absolutely sick quarter for a primary IG set! Those are Merica AF!!

Yes in Vegas, but Missouri gaming law states all $500s there must be orange and $1ks purple. Most other places it is the opposite.

Even went and found it for you

Middle of the page there, "$500 must be fire Orange"
PCA $500s concurr. Casino Aztar just decided to skip the high denoms.

I have seen quarters at craps table only at Jokers Wild in Henderson, back in 2017

They had 1 dollar minimum, so 25c were used. There was 25c roulette too, but I did not play it
Tables have been closed post-covid
