We have a few threads started about hosting challenging poker games.

I sent out texts to about 20 players for a game on JAN 16th. Before I was texting (I text everyone separate, I hate group texts) I had 6 players. Within 30 minutes I'm up to 80 players, lol.

Damn I love degenerates!!!!!

I run a meetup group. We put up a cash game last week with a limit of ten players. It filled up within FIFTEEN seconds, plus one person on the waitlist. That means 8-9 people got a notification on the meetup app and RSVP'd IMMEDIATELY. When I started this group five years ago, I was lucky to get a full table on two weeks notice.

Good god you must have a hell of a Rolodex. I was stoked that I could fill out 50 spots for S@P II using the board and my locals months in advance. I doubt I could get more than 20-30 in that kind of time frame.

I was at 9 within a couple of hours and a handful of regulars still haven't responded. If I hit 14 I'll do two tables. Otherwise anyone after 10 will be put on a waitlist.
