Finally bought my first set of chips that isn't some cheapo Walmart set.
I know others have said 14 grams are too heavy but I love the weight of these. Gonna be using them for poker night at my house for years to come.

These certainly bring back memories. This was my second set (only pic I took of them):

I bought a 500ct set of these back in 2010 with 10 different denoms ($1 through $10K)... obviously had no clue on breakdowns and I just figured the more colours the better. I eventually stumbled onto Home Poker Tourney, ChipTalk; and then eventually PCF and learned how to construct better breakdowns. I ended up re-purposing the set into two different 500ct sets (bought additional chips and ditched unnecessary denoms) and gave one of them to my friend as a birthday present. After I discovered the Venerati chips at Sidepot Gaming I gave the second set to the same friend. I still like these but prefer lighter weight chips.

Enjoy your set and definitely take @grantc54's advice.

Still own my rediculous set of these MC sluggers

No joke... played them once for a single table T5 based tourney... then found PCF and they haven't really moved since, but would definitely still break them out if someone asked.

Take the advice above and run before you get the feel for real clay... it's all down hill from there. This was set #2 for me... I think we have 38 playable sets now. There is a sickness with collecting chips! Pray you don't catch it!! Lol

Congratulations, your players will love them!

Really nice tournament set!. Also great cards IMO - Jumbo index Copags. I used to play with them on my home games all the time.

How can you tell whether those Copags are jumbo index, or just a guess that they’re not regular index?

Also, what cards do you use now? Just curious.

Well, you're right actually  :ROFLMAO: I just assumed poker players prefer jumbo index over regular one, well I do for sure :D

Currently not hosting home games anymore, but I do have really nice, 4 colour decks from polish distribution - https://coyote-cards.com/ + I am wating for some sick custom made deck created by artist called 'Ten Hundred'. You can see his project on https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tenhundred/vivid-kingdoms-playing-cards great stuff imo

Yeah, quite sick :D but with over 600k subs on YT I guess it wasn't that hard + the project is really great and unique! Expectations definitely exceeded, can't wait for those to come!

They actually aren't jumbo but I had intended on getting jumbo-sized bridge decks. They were sold out and I have a game coming up so I needed some now and settled for the regular.
Next order will be jumbos.

Congratz, also had a set of these. But left over material from production made for really sharp edges and uncomfortable use. Hope yours are better than mine were :D Enjoy the hell out of them

My buddy has the same set. We all oood and awwwd when we first played with them since we were using walmart generic stuff for our home game. His main complaint is that they are too heavy, which compounds the issue of transporting them. Like when stacked up in the case, they are very heavy.
