I felt the same about some cologne bottles that were in the form of chip stacks I saw on eBay recently.
I have an odd collection of cologne bottles. My grandmother was an Avon lady forever basically and saved all the bottles. Some were actually nice. My favorite is from their Windjammer cologne, it is a globe of the world.

Yeah, those are sick. You dig them because they are supremely ill.

I dunno. They are bulky and impractical... and beat up. And don't hold anywhere near enough chips. But if they were redone, and maybe reconfigured to hold cards instead of chips...

They allow for easy access and provide a way to display a heads up set.

With the lids on, they just look like game room decorations and protect the chips from light damage.

^^Translation: Hello, my name is WedgeRock and I am a chipoholic. Let's discuss.:sneaky:

I think I saw these on The 70's Show. Didn't Hyde store his weed in a pair of these?

Love em! Chips and dice all in one thing. Now if we could only work a roulette wheel and a slot machine into the thing somehow.

First, LMAO at @One Eyed Dollar comment.

Second, I have the solution. Take off the lid. Drill two or four recessed holes in the top of the base and the bottom of the lid, then glue some round magnets in there. I have a chip holder from a cheap casino set and I use it to collect high hand chips from each pot. I swear, I have to pry it open sometimes.

Regarding the likability, last month, I came home with a small lamp from the late 1920s, early 30s. It has two stacked dice and my wife hates it. I, however, like it and like the OP’s dice as well. The condition tilts me, though, and I’d probably pass on the dice. Or at least have to refinish them. My dice lamp needs the dots to be repainted and I’ll get to that at some point.
