I designed Indiana Grand Frac Labels (2 Viewers)

@dickthebaker feel like designing some IG cut cards for the GB happening right now?

https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/custom-cut-card-group-buy-round-13.92263/

Im sure everyone who owns a set of IGs would be grateful for the help.
Maybe. These samples and my vendor issue put me behind schedule so I’m a bit short on time. Let me see if I can find a few minutes to put something together if someone else wants to buy them.

I now have more sample packs that are already put together. Any orders between now and this coming Wednesday morning will go out on Wednesday. I think I’m going to make Wednesday the shipping day for everything that comes in the future to make things simpler.

Got mine yesterday very similar to others from here. I am excited to work with you to order some

I received mines as well. I would appreciate some guidance on which type of label matches the closest to IG chips. Also is there an option to change the color of the frac label?

You can change just about anything you like on the design, also the text is a bit bolder now to better match the original IG chips than the samples that were sent out thanks to a comment from a member here, its a better match now. New samples from this point on will have that change, its very minor but makes a diiference.

Satin is probably the closest match to most modern RHC chips. Nothing can replicate the plastic Paulson uses on their inlays but it seems to me the satin option is the closest.

Just received frac labels for 2 racks. Wow, the color matching is excellent. Thanks @dickthebaker !

I went with gear shape. What are you guys doing?

Also interested in what chips you are relabeling. I wanted to use Paris $2s RHCs, but I saved $480 going with Flamingo $1s. Didn't seem right spending nearly the same on fracs vs my whole IG set from TCR sale. THC fracs are an okay offset to the rest of the RHC lineup FOR ME. My players would never notice a difference.

How would you print metallic silver? (Or whatever base the Paris $2 uses). I think it’d make an awesome frac.

Hmmm. Came here looking for a new chip set for my home cash game, but these look great! Might just have to do blanks and custom labels

I've asked a lot about this too (in gear label threads), and I can't get a good answer about metallic silver chips, because they do look like they have metallic flakes/streaks in them. (Similar to a metallic silver sharpie pen.) And there's no specific pantone, or cmyk color that matches because you could match the lighter "highlights" part of the metallic silver color, or the darker "low lights" but not both at the same time.

So there's no real good way to match the faux inlay 100% like you see with the IG chips. (The gear, or octagon, or starburst shapes along the outside of the inlay.)

But the answer is starting you in the face.... Paris is using just a white background with no faux inlayI think a plain black background would also look pretty good.

In fact, I just may have to do this for my Paris 2s.

Im working on a color match for these, gonna finish it this week, its a tricky one but doing what I can. As @Carnth stated, anything metallic is impossible to recreate exactly but Im trying to find the best color that embodies the entire feel of the color of the chip.

ok I got some news and need some advice. Ive been feverishly color matching the Paris $2 chip and discovering that in different light different colors work better. Not all that unusual for lighting to effect colors, I'm used to that and can usually find a color that works best in multiple lighting scenarios.

BUUUUUUTtttttttt...

Due to the flecks in the metallic colored chip it appears vastly different in different light. I want to default to the best color at slightly dimmer overhead light as I think most poker is played at versus my color balanced light that is usually used at art galleries and is usually used for color matching.

Does my intuition track here that most people are playing in not super brightly lit rooms?

In my basement where we play is along the lines of a warmer overhead lighting...apposed to bright white LED lighting.

I suspect it is going to be very hard to find a dead-nuts perfect match (due to the metal flakes)....I say get it reasonably close and go with it, it can be tweaked down the road if the torches and pitchforks come out....and heck, have you seen some of the color matching done by "real" casinos???

Im not sure if thats day blue, i believe the Flamingo 1 is day blue, that is color matched already. I have a bunch of color samples so if someone knows the color I can start color matching other stuff in the coming days/weeks
