Great set! Too bad the $1’s and $5’s are all beat to death.

Just imagine what the whole set would have looked like years ago, when they were new. The yellow 5s must have been blinding.

Hats off to whoever chose arc yellow for the edge spot on the green chip, too.

I’ve actually been intending to move these on, but after pulling them out for the photos I’m finding that idea much less appealing.

I wonder how these could fit into a larger mixed set. I don’t think I could ever relabel vintage Paulsons like these, so the only option would be to find other chips to add on...

The $1s and $5s have to be two of the nicest chips I've seen. Are they really all beat, no excellent condition chips hoarded away? Worthy of a CPC tribute set perhaps..

If the $1’s and $5’s could be found mint it would have been my favorite set. The colors are awesome. As it stands I ended up selling my entire set.

You should consider keeping them and making a mixed set. I admit I never found the idea particularly appealing until my recent venture with my Claim Stake chips. I didn’t like the hotstamped $1 and the casino had no $100 chip that I can find.

I’m currently working on it as a Nevada mixed set and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite sets. (Pics coming soon)

You could do an all Cali mixed set. I’m sure there are some kick ass CA chips out there to match. GLW search!

I’m just a lurker (could never justify spending seriously on nice chips), but these have got to be some of my favorite chips I’ve ever seen.

I've had 1300 HP 1s and I have exactly 1 that is in NM condition, and I bought it on eBay just because I'd never seen one with sharp edges!

I do have about 1-2 racks of 5s in good condition though (casino used rather than complete bike tire). They aren't for sale but the condition of the 5s does vary a bit.
