Some of us use multiple injection molded plastic hardshell with pluck pull protective foam cases (Pelican, Nanuk, Apache, etc) to store chips, right? How does everyone store or display their cases?

Mine are unceremoniously stacked on the living room floor. Last weekend I accidentally left two cases of chips at a friend's going away poker/dinner party. With two missing cases, I currently feel my chip storage corner of the living room is less cluttered, so I'm looking for a better storage solution.

EDIT: added more keywords

I unceremoniously slide them under the bed.

I do hope someday to actually make an in wall storage system with metal shelves so I can just grab the on I need and not have to take down a whole stack each time. Somehow the set you want is always at the bottom (which makes sense in a rotaion) wish I had something amazing to show but we have free space in the basement and that is where they live.

Lol, you have probably 10 times as many chips to store. I don’t have enough beds for all of that. Lol

Well the Apache do lock into each other pretty nice. I think a wooden wall system with heavy duty shelves is going to be your only answer sir! Or a barrister (glass shelving unit to proudly display your babies. And just keep the cases out of site unless needed for a traveling poker game.

Many Times I have said "that's enough cases! Just shelve your nice sets/display" but I don't like dust or natural light on the chips... I think in these cases are the best way to store them long term. But they do take up a ton of space!

Mine go in my office safe and the cash set does not leave the house under any circumstances

Ignore thr left case... that is a cash set and it NEVER leaves the house!

Just kidding, our chips a whores, we take them everywhere!

Stacked on top of a chest of drawers. Yes it's a pain to find the one you're looking for so I've been trying to label them. No point in "display" as you can't see what's inside.

We use a Brother P-touch for the white labels on our cases... nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Lots of different models on eBay for pretty cheap, Amazon sells them too. Ours is a bigger one with a hard case and AC cord that plugs in, but the small battery jobs will do the trick just as well for a few cases. 100% my OCD would not be OK with no labels on the cases.

Hope that chest is pretty sturdy, some cases can get pretty dang heavy. Our quarter limit set Is 2,100 leaded THCs, some are over 11 grams but even at 10.5 each that is 48 pounds of poker chips without the case and racks.
