I didn't even think of buying more chips until I discovered these chip sites a year ago. I have a fairly large set of 11.5g slugged laser chips, and was happy.
Now I have 700 Yaks for an additional tourney set, and will probably expand that to 1000 to allow for more players...I seem to change my mind hourly. If the chips weren't so darn nice, it'd be a lot easier to resist.

At least the 11.5g sluggos will serve as a cash set if a game ever breaks out during a tourney.
I'm also drowning in a sea of chip samples, and am contemplating a solid clay set. So far, I've discovered that anything less than a 9.5-10g chip is too light for my liking, so that takes most ASM and BCC chips off the table (whew!). However, if a Paulson GCR set comes up, my wallet is doomed.
And don't get me started on cards...
