How many smaller denom chips do you need for a tourney set that has a bunch of 1k/5k/25k (1 Viewer)

Assuming I was able to amass a set that included a full rack of 1k, 4 barrels of 5k and a barrel of 25k, what is it going to require on the smaller end like the 25's, 100's, 500s?

I feel like I'm already not going to get most of those chips in play, ever. But still wondering how many 100's would be needed to justify a full barrel of 25ks at the top end

I have a T100 base set thats T100/500/1k/5k/25k, with the breakdown of 200/100/200/75/25. 20 entries at 25k starting stack would, in theory, could get 75x5k and 5x25k in play (Blinds at 5k/10k, hypothetically)

So to answer your question, you could probably get away with 200 T100s and 200 T500s. If you had more 1ks you could probably only need 100-150 T500s.

Agree with @allforcharity on starting at T100. Only downside is you can’t do antes, but that’s probably fine for most home games, or just to BBA
