I like to travel and I have lived in several different parts of the country over the years. And that has given me the chance to play at lots of different poker rooms. Today I counted them all up and was surprised that I have played at 88 different rooms over the last 9 years. 55 of those I only played 1 time and some were for only a couple of orbits but I still count them.
I am not counting home games or raked games at someones house. I counted 2 'charity' poker rooms in Delaware but not one time charity tournaments.
Curious to see what everyone else has to say....

I made a list just to count em up - 11 in Vegas / 11 all other. Actually a little surprised it's this many.

Aria is my favorite

Maybe I should get up to Wisconsin too. I have some family there.

6 total, 2 per state.
MD:
Live! And horseshoe

NJ:
Tropicana and Harrahs

NV:
Paris and Treasure Island (both tournaments about 8-9 years ago)

I count 73 but I got that high after I found a bunch I missed reading other people's lists. Only counting rebranded casinos like Horseshoe/Jack Cincinnati as one. Probably still missing some. Not counting cruise ships.

In Ontario:
Brantford
CNE
Niagara
Fallsview
Woodbine
Thousand Islands
Rama
Windsor
Great Blue Heron

I will add that I've been in many other casinos, and other states to gamble, but most of those places were prior to poker (for me anyway, I was mostly shooting craps).

That reminds me that there are still a few rooms here in Colorado that I haven't played in.
And if I can make it to the Las Vegas meetup coming up then I have at least 10 rooms to play in.

I am going to make it to 100:)

My quick list is at 28, probably more:

CA: Pachenga
CO: Gilpin, Ameristar, Golden Gates, Lady Luck, Isle, Lodge
LV:
Aria
Bally's
Binions
Caesar's
Flamingo
Gold Coast
Golden Nugget
Harrah's
Luxor
MGM
Palms
Paris
Planet Hollywood
Plaza
Rio
Sahara
Stardust
Stratosphere
T.I.
Venetian

Switzerland: St. Gallen casino

NJ: 3 Trump Taj Mahal (1st casino I ever played in), Borgata, Harrah's
MD: 2 Horseshoe Baltimore, Maryland Live (I haven't even been to the new MGM yet.)
WV: 1 Charles Town
DE: 1 Delaware Park
NV (Las Vegas): 14 Planet Hollywood, Venetian, Flamingo, Aria, Stratosphere, Palms, Golden Nugget, Bellagio, Bally's, Caesars, Harrah's, Rio, MGM, Excalibur

Used to take a yearly trip with friends to LV over Superbowl weekend, and mainly stayed at Palms and Planet Hollywood. Probably more than half of those casinos I've only played in once or twice.

LV:
Paris
Video poker?

My victory chip collection has chips from 32 rooms. Since I'm not very good, I'm assuming I lost at least 50% of the time putting my estimated total in the 51-80 range. However, this is just an estimate.

Any time I travel, I try to squeeze in a poker game. Since the nearest legal room is 4 hours from home (and Tunica ) travel and poker go hand in hand.

I haven't played in too many poker rooms, mainly being an online and home game player. But my list is:
1. Golden Nugget, Las Vegas
2. MGM Grand, LV
3. Luxor, LV
4. The Bicycle, LA

I'd like to start playing more live poker in casino's, but it is just more time consuming. I am fairly young though, so I am sure this will increase pretty rapidly over the next few years.

Do it in May, and hit up the MTTD while you're at it! :).

That would be cool. I have no idea where I will be next May but I may be back in Colorado and then I can organize a trip:)
Then maybe I can start a thread "How many Meetups have you played in?" MTTD would be my 5th or 6th :)

I see Colorado mentioned several times above. I have some family there. Might make a fun trip.

How's the poker scene in Colorado? What are the best rooms?

It's actually dropped off quite a bit....
Only rooms still open are Ameristar (good for cash), Golden Gates (good for Tourneys), Isle and Lady Luck hang on somehow...
Betting is capped at $100 MAX per bet, so you can still see some large 1-2 Hold em games, just not "No Limit". It's called Spread Limit. Before 2009 it was Max $5.00, which was horrible.....$100 is still not quite right, but better than a stick in the eye....

The PCF contingent is quite good though! I actually haven't gone up to Black Hawk all year as I've been getting plenty of rake-free games just among the guys here. :)

If you're ever in town, just ping me.
