Hello chippers,

I am thinking of making a collection of clay chip molds for framing. Surely there are some that have the same. Is there a list/collection on PCF where this info exists? I can't seem to find such info.

Thanks, Jeff

Thanks!! That was fast. There has to be well over 100, by guessing. I think starting with a frame holding half of that will be good to start. ANOTHER chip project in mind. YES!!!

If anyone has some pics of what you have, I'd like to see. :watching:

This is the thread you're looking for to identify all the Paulson molds: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/paulson-th-c-indentification-and-amount-produced.9155/

To save you a click (but click anyway):

Short cane version (SCV), 39mm chip
Long cane version (LCV), 39mm
Reverse hat & cane (RHC), 39mm
Inverted hat & cane (IHC), 43mm
Reverse hat & cane (RHC) – some call this Fat hat & cane, 48mm.
Paulson Chips, 39mm
Paulson Chips, 43mm
Value / Denom molds (several molds, one per denom)
House molds (many different molds, each specific to a given casino)
Card Pip / Suits
Paradise
Web
Diamond
Paulson Pro Series
Plain / No Mold / Crest and Seal
Roulette

Some of these are on the antiquegamblingchips.com molds index, but many are not.

Add Decor Ring and Lammer mold (both 39mm) to that list.

There are also several molds that were used by the Blue Chip Company (BCC). Some of them are are on antiquegamblingchips.com but many are not.

Sun
Flame / Shell
Cigar and Snifter
Courts and Numerals
Web (this same mold was used by Burt, Paulson, and BCC)
T-mold aka Small T aka Interlocking T
Plain / No Mold, 50mm
Medium Greek Key
Two-Face Poker
Four Suits (maybe the same as TFP? not clear to me based on my forum searches so far)

What's the difference between Lammer and Plain/No/C&S ?

Four Suits (or Suits) mold is listed as MD-38b and was originally used for casinos by ASM, prior to being sold and converted for use by BCC to make Mardi Gras v1, Martini Club, and other home market chips. It is not the same mold as the TFP mold, which belongs to Two Face Poker and was leased to produce the Commission and Grand Championship of Poker chip sets by BCC.

The Paulson Crest & Seal (C&S) mold is 50mm (chips also made in 47mm and 48mm; see Winner Club chips). It is entirely possible that all three are/were made using the same mold and simply ground to respective size afterwards.

The 39mm Lammer mold has a recess but no other mold markings, unlike the flat and unmarked ASM/CPC plain mold (textured and untextured).

36mm Paulson Mold? Is it also RHC mold??

What about the big frisbees we saw at the WSOP with writing in the edge spots? Did we decide those were just special inserts in the normal 50mm mold?

So that's the one used on the Gemaco promotional chips / PCF chips / Apache Monaco / Apache Elite chips, right? Or is that a different mold?

Yeah, I think they are just special inserts in RFID 50mm chips. Not a new mold imo.

Yes, the Gemaco chips are/were made using the lammer mold. Paulson had also used it in the past for no-value chips (roulettes, tourney sets, etc.).

Another one we overlooked: The BCC Desert Palms mold, which was designed for the home market and made to resemble Paulson house molds, but for a fantasy casino.
