Are you implying that Jim IS a part of this community? Sure, he’s a vendor here, so he is technically part of the community. But when’s the last time he commented on one of your pron posts? Or gave his opinion on a strategy thread? Or posted anywhere outside one of his sale threads?
I’m not bashing the guy at all, but let’s be realistic - he sells us chips literally millions of chips, and he occasionally tosses Tommy some giveaways for the community, and that’s it.

I've been trying to stay out of this mess, but I had to respond to this comment.

Jim is 100% a part of this community. He's a respected, trusted vendor who has put millions of casino chips in our hands (and thousands into my hands personally). Maybe he doesn't fit your definition of what a "member of the community" is, but PCF would be a worse place without him.

I can't disagree that there hasn't been a lot of threads with outright fighting, name calling, and other childish stuff going on lately, but that is not the entire site, nor is it all the community members. And to completely dismiss all debating because of some childish people does not seem like the best alternative imho.

You are also responsible for more useless, senseless, waste of space comments than most people. That sort of nonsense isn’t usually my thing, but I’ve never complained, because there are clearly some people who enjoy it.
I guess I’m trying to say that if we’re evaluating the quality and or usefulness of some of the content here, you may be living in a glass house.

I don't see the point of this thread at all. TCR is Jim's business. Unless he (for some reason) is going to be soliciting our opinions on this issue, then what we think ultimately doesn't matter. Chips are not a life necessity. There is no inherent right to participate in this microeconomy. He may decide to sell to, or not sell to, anyone he pleases.

Just avoid clicking and reading thru threads that don't interest you. There are certain areas of the forum I have no interest in and avoid. Same with some posters - if I see a certain dick head as the OP I'll move along and not read the thread.

As long as there are TCR sales there will be happy folks, angry folks, and indifferent folks. Kind of a fact of PCF life.

If you want to read angry bickering go peruse the politics forum for 10 seconds. Lots of anger there. Lol.

The point of the thread was to hear opinions on people who are taking advantage of TCR sales, not to tell Jim what he should or should not do. It is a discussion of opinions on something that affects all of us. Why is there so much hate for debating on this site? The rule stating "no more then 2000 chips for household" it's easy to circumvent.
I need 3 minutes to create another PCF and paypal account. I have several address to ship. I did not it, because I'm not a reseller and I needed just 500 (mostly used) chips for my small home game.
Obeying to this rule it's left to each user's correctness and honesty, IMHO
