How do you end cash games (1 Viewer)

@Lil Tuna I may have found you another Bingo Omaha player as well! Purple would be so excited! Lmao
“Midnight baseball bangers,” gotta love it! I’ve seen pictures from the game @Goldfish plays in, it’s a couple leagues above my typical cash game. :ROFLMAO: But I could always use another “Turbo Bruce” in my game to get Purple and Porn Star Barry more than one buy in deep. :ROFLMAO:

That is an interesting post to read :)

One of my former players who has since gone broke used to personally be responsible for creating enough action to loosen up the rocks. He was great for the game! Probably responsible for an extra 25-30 percent more chips on the table than any other player I had.

I would love to play in a game with guys named turbo Bruce, purple and porn star Barry. I am happy to play any stakes u guys normally play as long as it’s not all holdem. The last small stakes holdem game I went to was 100 buyins - rebought 22 times in the first hour....... not my sweet spot.

4-5 players is when the game gets the juiciest!!! 9 handed is nut peddling for the most part. Short handed forces people to open up their ranges.

I don’t know what form of poker you play, but PLO variations are a great way to keep a short handed game going.
With the crew that I play with, they tend to have a pretty wide range with full tables and it is always fun seeing people convince themselves that A-2 offsuit is a good hand to call with preflop with already a few splashers ahead of them...

4-5 handed for us becomes a crapshoot and once of the 4/5 is bound to go broke and then the game breaks...

But yes I agree it can be fun seeing players open up their ranges...

I think I enjoy the social side of afull table as well.

I typically run a mixed orbit of each $1/$2 NLHM,
$2-$10 spread limit stud8 and $2-$10 spread limit Omaha 8 with a $100-$300 buy in. You can reload for another $300 anytime your stack is under $300 and buy in for a max of $600 if you bust.
All my players but 1 typically buys in for the full amount. Typical game will get 5k to 8k in play depending on who’s in attendance. “Turbo Bruce” in attendance equals juicy pots most of the time. :ROFLMAO:
Unfortunately with Covid I’ve had a tough time getting one of these organized since about last February.

I host private games and I always set at time at which the game will end
Then when we reach that set time, players often want more, and I let them play double board PLO high bombpots with increasing forced price preflop for the bombpots
Example:
First game-ending bombpot 25kr each
Second 50kr each
Third 100kr each
Fourth 200kr each
Fifth 400 each
And so on until the game ends

Btw: kr = kroner, danish currency
$1 = kr6 at the moment
I’m deff doing this! Love it!

We end on a certain time (1am or something) and call out last 5 hands leading up to it or so. then we do one final face up bomb pot for $5 or so for a final gamble then count up and pay out. I only pay out in round $5 so anything more than that you can either donate to others or race off the other chips...
