I have a vintage Vegas collection and purposely bought items I knew I could display well. That being said, it’s all sitting in a box and not currently on display as a result of having children. Anyway, I didn’t focus much on getting chips for my collection because I didn’t know how to display them. I assume most people keep them in plastic sleeves in a binder and show them that way but is there a way to display them well in a room? Maybe a shadowbox type of frame or something but any other ways?

I have over 2,000 casino singles from all over - mostly less than 20 years old. Twenty five frames like these:

I have a picture rail running around the poker room, six feet off the ground. The framed chips are at eye level all around the room. Think in your mind like an art gallery. I even use hanging tools similar to a gallery.

I also have a hundred year old lawyer's case which I use to display things like plaques and all sorts of brik-a-brak.

No reason to have all this stuff if it can't be seen. Ok, that is not quite right. Almost all my sets are in the storage closet unless it is their time on the felt.

Only the Outpost set gets to be front and center. That is an Oz Woodworking chip case. It holds 1,200 of the ~1,600 chips in the set. Sadly that guy has vanished, but he did nice work in the day. I bet we have several vendors on PCF who can make you something really nice.

Check them out! -=- DrStrange

I have 1 small display in the poker room for some samples and singles. I have a few more I haven’t hung up yet but will eventually.
