****SEE EDIT BELOW FOR ADDITIONAL INFO.****

Up for sale are 140 Paulson hot-stamped yellow quarters from a short-lived 1980's casino Big Al's Speakeasy.

Not much info. available for the casino because it was only opened for about 6 weeks due to not securing a gaming license (http://www.nevadachips.com/Las Vegas/Big Als/Big als Speakeasy.htm). These took me awhile to acquire because they were fairly expensive. I bought out Spinette's supply (at $2.50/per chip) and was going to fill out at least the second rack with help from Apache, but that deal fell through. I have since bought other quarters because I need more than 140 and not quite sure if you can find anymore of these. But if 140 works for you (and I know it does for most), then here ya go.

Chips are in great condition. No round edges. They were bought with just some dirt/grime on them but after a good cleaning, they shined up pretty nice (see before/after shots below). Hot-stamps are all evident, but some are a little tarnished from 30+ years of storage (or whatever).

$250 shipped in the US (approx. $1.65/per chip plus shipping + cleaning) :D
Paypal FF or you pick up the fees

Before and After

***EDIT***

So I went home last night and took another look at these... because that's what I do with my chips :D. When I received these chips, I cleaned them and then stored them while I was trying to find more. I never used them though. Being hot-stamps, I wanted to check for flatness (if that's a word). I did not notice any spinners but I did notice a few slightly warped chips when I took pictures of stacks from around eye level...not something I typical do but I figured I would because I don't want to have any unsatisfied buyer(s). I slid stacks around the table to "play" with them and didn't have any problems but I thought I would mention it to be fair.

I have lowered the price by $50 just to make up for this because I should have taken pictures like this from the beginning but I didn't really think about it till now.

Too close to a color in my set. If only they were another color, or I was named Al....
Haha!! My name is Al and it's what made me try to acquire a set in the first place. Tell your friends you somehow had custom Paulsons made.

Thanks for the heads up @mike32 and @acl1904 !!! Much, much appreciated!!!

Just need to do some inventory checking before commiting @72o ... Hopefully they will still be around for a few hours, if not, my fault for not being trigger happy on this one...

Wow... these are great... really tempted... paging ChaosRock to save me.

I see lcv and scv in the pictures. Don't know if they are mixed back to front or they did different runs with both molds, my guess would be mixed.

Ah yes indeed you are right.

I thought I saw lcv and zoomed on the bottom pic rather than the mixed stack pic, hence my confusion.

Yeah it looks like a mix of the LCV and SCV but they would be from the same batch/order as the casino definitely didn't have 2 runs of chips made. I think I remember reading that Paulson used to mix these 2 molds together.

I'm still going back and forth on those, LOL!!! The longer they stay available here, the closer I get to pull the trigger though...

Please, please, please, someone please snag those as I'm trying to save some dough for an CPC add-on...
