Planning to attempt to get Paulson inlay removed chips hot stamped.

Process I have started with is to:
A) Remove inlay
B) Sand inlay area
C) Hot stamp

This will be for add ons to my Lady Luck hot stamp chips. Therefore it will be low volume.

So far I am happy with initial results with A and B.

These are test chips, not the actual chips I am going to use.

Before (only took pic of the $100).

Considering:
- 43mm T25k
- 39 mm T25k
- Bounty
- Rebuy

Watch here to see if I get anywhere with this!

Interested to see how this goes, but I don't envision it's gonna be great, though I hope I'm wrong. Sorry lol

Won't the recess be too deep?

Sanding looks like it worked though, it does look nice and smooth.

The bottom chip was a giant inlay st jo’s $5

I did the inlay removal, but didn’t prep the surface at all, just was trying to center the hotstamp and get a feel for stamping into a paulson.

Woild you care to share the process for the inlay removal? Or point me to the thread where it was explained (I'm sure there must be one on here somewhere). I have some casino Paulson's that I might want to do that with, but seems like it might be a painstakingly long process.

Here's an old thread of mine that has some videos. There are several other threads - just use "full inlay replacement" in the search function.

Any followup here? Looks like a nice clean stamping surface. Just make sure no oil hits the surface pre-stamping. Also its important to have a completely level surface.

I wanna see the follow up to this. I love hot stamping and want to see how viable this is.

Oooh, I love me some hot stamps! Considering I don’t own any I’m super interested to see how this pans out .
