I guess it could come in handy for a DIY relabeling? Anyway, I hope it makes sense to post here.

It's hard for me to get a "size" reference on this thing. Trying to determine if it could even be shipped.

They're about the size of a large coffeemaker. Shipping might be a little bulky, but not a major problem, I'd think.

BTW if it's working, $30 is a complete steal. Should sell for 10x that.

Ok, I'm texting with the seller now and am working on a deal to pick it up this weekend. He said he'd demo it for me to show me how it works. Once I have it, I'll take offers or throw it up on Classifieds to move it on to a member who can use it.

I've made a purchasing agreement with the seller and plan on picking it up Sunday.

The "Mine / Not Mine" refers to whose listing it is, so I wouldn't change it to Mine. Closing the thread means just that, no more posts or discussion.

I'd update the OP to indicate that you've made a deal with the seller, so no one else bothers him, but leave the thread open so you can update us on when you receive the thing, how it turned out, etc.

I was worried someone might come to that conclusion. I'm not trying to get into any drama, (or name calling), but needless to say my intentions are to obtain this in order to redistribute it to someone on this forum who wants/needs it. I don't want to go into too much detail, but I didn't realize I was going to be in Clearwater until after I posted this. @BGinGA will have first dibs.

I wasn't sure how to read it, to be honest..... so I said nothing, and decided to just see how it played out. One could certainly easily misinterpret this remark:

but his subsequent posts don't seem to have that same make-a-buck flavor. I'm willing to go by the innocent-until-proven-guilty standard.

And in all fairness to the OP (a new guy, too - welcome!), there's really no such thing as dibs on a CL listing in another state. I just thought it would be a decent pickup if I could arrange it, and worth the effort to maybe try to get another hot-stamper (me) up and running in our midst.

Somebody local needed to go pick it up to get it into our community. I think he was just helping. @ni9n3r seems like he had good intentions here, and has been a great guy in my dealings with him.

When I read it I inderstood it like @pltrgyst did. But I also figured @ni9n3r just chose the wrong words. As it kinda felt like "hey I'll pick this up for us before we lose it".

I send tons of emails and msgs everyday all day. The purpose of most of them is to tell employees what they did wrong and how to get it right next time. While it is part of my official job as an "expert" to help these employees when their transactions aren't working, one word can make the difference between "here you go bud this'll work" and "damn you're dumb".

So as someone who worries about coming across the right way 25x a day, I understand how that above msg can be misinterpreted. Especially when I'm never gonna reread what I post here and scrutinise my msgs as much as work stuff lol. So prob the same for everyone else here.
