I was playing in the poker room last night at the Horseshoe and one of the dealers mentioned that when they open the land based casino they are going back to the Caesar's name. So it looks like they will be needing new chips. Anyone know how to get the old ones? They are the THC mold. The opening date he mentioned is Dec. 11th 2019

I don't get it. They have problems with flooding but built the new casino right along the riverbank? Maybe they should have gone with an Atlantis theme?

It is elevated the only part i know that has flooded is part of the parking garage

Maybe they should keep the boat as a shuttle?

The only reason the casino hasn’t flooded is because it’s a boat and it floats at water level. The road to the casino floods in addition to the un-elevated walkway to the casino and the first level of the hotel. Basically the entire casino and hotel closes when the river gets really high. It baffles me why they continue to exist there. I think the casino is going to be elevated and probably won’t flood but the only road to it will!

Anyway, all of the chips are really awesome except for the one dollar chips which are brown / white. I’m just not a big fan of brown. It carries over to one of the spots of the $25 chipw which doesn’t look bad at all and doesn’t bother me. I’m just not a big fan of the one dollar chip.

I drove by just yesterday and noticed the “Caesars” name on the the front of one of the entrances facing the road...makes sense now
