Hello,

Not long ago I wanted to make plaques myself.

It was also an opportunity to make plaques for my father's custom set.

I just want to share my project with you, it could also give ideas to other people.

I made a fairly simple rendering, but there are many possibilities to have a better visual rendering.

1st step: molding

2nd step step: demolding

Final :

1) Print the pattern on photo paper.
2) Pour the resin into the mould.
3) Place the photo paper (cut) on the resin.
4) Wait 24 for drying.
5) Unmould.
6) Glue the two parts.

Awesome sir! I love seeing the work of creative people such as yourself.

After pouring the resin in the mold and allowing it to dry how did you separate the individual halves of the plaques?

did you simply put the paper backing into the resin or was it poured partially then more poured on top?

This definitely could use a how to video for when you create more, Great Work!

Hello @philhut

I first poured the resin into the moulds. I then deposited the impression on top (by pressing a little) and I removed the surplus (with a scraper). After 24 hours of drying, I peeled off and glued both sides.

My English is not good, hope this helped you.

When I have time, I can make a video. But I have a lot of work, so it will wait a little bit.

Yeah this is great. Thanks for sharing. Approximately how much did it cost to make each plaque?
